Re: Battlecloth Pocket Pistol & Silencer pouch review

Compliments on a top grade presentation of a new product. Can one substitute a PPK in place of the Bobcat in the carrier? Thanks. I just tried my wife's PPK/S .22lr in this case and it does not fit, but I bet Steve at Battlecloth could upscale this pouch a tad to make one fit. It'd be worth sending...

Video: Five-seveN with SWR Spectre II shooting Elite QuieTOR

Uploaded a new video today of me shooting my Five-seveN/Spectre II combo with some of the Elite Ammunition QuieTOR 5.5 (specifically designed for the pistol) subsonic ammo. I wasn't that impressed with the ammo. Now, I understand the limitations of a straight-blowback pistol, but it still sounded to...

Updated silencer videos

I re-uploaded a couple of my videos on YouTube. It was brought to my attention that I probably shouldn't be using the Tron soundtrack "without permission." LOL. I'd appreciate anyone who would like to re-watch them and help me get some views back in my ratings. All of my videos are availab...

Re: Night Sights

AWC will sell the sets of night sights they use on their Amphibian integral Mk-series Rugers. It's Bar-Dot style, not Three-Dot style, though. You get a replacement front sight and a rear sight replacement BLADE. Take out the blade from your adjustable rear sight and install this one.

DeGroat NANO wiped/dry on a .22?

So have any other of your NANO owners tried it dry/wiped on a .22 pistol? Because I just did, and it was definitely hearing safe with CCI Standard Velocity (what I had loaded). From memory (and it's been a while), it sounded like it might be as quiet as a YHM Mite. I was firing my Beretta 70S, if an...

Re: Element 2 in hand

Just found out yesterday that you can remove the rear cap on the can. I had assumed it was meant to be permanently or semi-permanently attached. Mine unscrewed a little from the endcap while attached to the pistol the other day, while trying to remove the can. I had the can just a little too tight ...

Re: Element 2 in hand

Tagged for more information. I'm considering buying an Element2 here soon, and I wanna try to find as much info about it before I pull the trigger. Am I understanding that on the original Element, you could take both endcaps off, but you CANNOT take both off on the Element2?

Re: Full Size Glock + Osprey + Viridian XL5?

I specifically purchased a X5L to use on my Glock 19 because regular lights wouldn't work with my 9Osprey. I wasn't worried about the laser, but found that it was a nice feature. The Viridian light/laser combo works PERFECTLY with the Glock series of pistols when paired with an Osprey. No worries.

Re: Looking for AAC Element2 info (vs. Spectre II)

The only change to the Element was Ti tube and end cap so should sound the same. Great pistol can, light, small, always at the top for pistols, always consistent. (Not so quiet on Rifles.) I was surprise the SpectreII beat it in that >one< test on pistol. The Spectre II will be much easier to clean...

Pistol. I've seen this video, but unless SWR just left off the "2", that's the original Element they use, not the Element2.

Looking for AAC Element2 info (vs. Spectre II)

So the holder of the purse strings has told me I can purchase a second .22 suppressor so that she and I can both have some fun shooting suppressed in the back yard. I have the SWR Spectre (upgraded to Spectre II) and am EXTREMELY happy with it. I'm not necessarily opposed to purchasing a second one,...

Re: Best dealer sample for Glock auto-switch backplates?

Also Glock made some changes to the slide to prevent the switch plate conversion. You might need to modify the slide. If this is for fun, go for it, put it on an older Glock (Gen 2 early Gen 3). If the LEO really want to use it, get a G18. I'll check into the slide changes. Our Glock armorer here o...

Best dealer sample for Glock auto-switch backplates?

Ok folks, we've finally found a LEO official in our area who will sign some demo letters for our shop. He wants to see a select-fire backplate to use on their Glocks. He does NOT want a Glock 18. Which company here in the US makes the best one? I'd hate to do the work and then find out I got the wro...

Re: Mk99 Mod 0 Full Auto?

Is the mk99 m0 suitable for limited full auto use? I looked on the website but looks like that has changed... Yep the Mk 99 Mod 0 is just fine for limited full auto use. Works great on Glocks also. James, will it work on a Glock full-auto without using the stock? Also, out of curiosity, what caused...

Re: gunbroker auction "non restricted" G18 slide assembly

It's a replacement part unregulated for a glock 18 factory machinegun, it will not fit any other Glock you might have, if you try to make it fit without papers then there would be a problem. From the price it is bringing being more than a legitimate user could buy and entire Glock 18 for I suspect ...
