Re: Hunter town arms guardian 9mm

I have one for my 5.56. They SUCK, period. They are old school technology and can't compare to the new ones. I might as well not even have one on it is that bad. Bought it on the recommendation of my LGS. Should have spent the extra bucks and gone with one of the better known ones. Shot it alongside...

Being owned or built by public funds is not always true. Our range is on property that is owned by one of our officers. The buildings were built by our officers with some help from local contractors who donated some supplies and equipment. Since it is on private property and can only be accessed by ...

I agree that it has to be light, especially if carried for long periods. I carried either a 37 airweight or a sig p-230. I've gone through 12" of snow, creeks, fields with 2' of weed/grass and NEVER had a problem with the ankle holster either coming off or losing a weapon. Just had to make sure...

OK, you want to save your hearing over one or two shots? How about the ability to draw and fire quickly to save your life. Try it with and without a can while sitting in a car and see how much longer it takes or how much more room you need to move. Then try it with a closed window on the drivers sid...

When I worked, I carried an ankle rig as a back up. In fact, I carried it so much that I wore out several Galco ankle holsters. I felt naked if I didn't have a back up on me. Now, depending on how I dress, I still use it if I can't wear a paddle holster.

Had tons of holsters for all the guns and after 30 years, I have narrowed it down to three, depending on which weapon I am carrying or what I am wearing. Fobus paddles for the G-27 and Sig 230, a belly band for both and a Galco ankle holster for the Sig. That's it.

You don't say what kind of NFA weapon you are talking about. My next question is "why" would anyone want to carry this type of weapon. I've been carrying a weapon for the last 30 years and sometimes it's a PIA just to conceal a small pistol (NOT small caliber) Why would you want an extra 6...

I also use a belly band when jogging or bicycling. It keeps everything high and out of the way as well as very concealed under a regular loose fitting t shirt. A belly band also works for me in the summer when wearing gym or jogging shorts

I have an aviator and use it on a MKIII w/paclite barrel, a 10/22 with a 16 1/8 threaded standard barrel and a 10/22 target with a 20" threaded butler creek bull barrel. Very satisfied with it's performance on all three. PMC subsonic is what I normally use and is way quieter than CCI subs. And ...

mastermike,
where in n.e ohio are you? If you are in the youngstown area, expert outfitters in North Lima are a c3 dealer and can order whatever you want. There is also one in the cuyahoga falls area and I think I have another address for another one in the cochocton area.

Good thing i'm not in any great hurry. As long as I get it within a reasonable amount of time. He says he already paid for it and I can get the paperwork done at the PD anytime I want with no delay. I can still go out my back yard and shoot anytime I want.

Ordered my aviator approx. 3 weeks ago and was told by the dealer that AAC had sent him the serial number 2 weeks ago. Since then-nothing. I'll give it another 1-2 weeks then call AAC to see if an order was placed. Dealer also said the last one had a 30 day turn around time

.22 thru a 9mm sionics suppressor

I have an old sionics two stage suppressor and had recently taken it apart to clean it and found that the last of my wipes had completely deteriorated. I have both the old end cap and the newer one piece. but while at my local Home Depot last week, I noticed they have neoprene washers, so I decided ...

The top of the vest should be just below the notch in your neck. The bottom should as a general rule be 3 fingers above your belt when standing. The ABA XT is an excellent vest. One of the best and lightest on the market but I would go with a level II instead of IIA. Not much difference in weight. A...
