Re: Benefits of NFA as a trust, BATFE Hassles, Solvent Trap suppressors made even queiter
According to the ATF (as explained to my store, a SOT dealer, by the ATF when I asked the question), only one type of agent, a BATF agent, is allowed to check your stamp, without warrant (court order). No other Federal, State of local jurisdiction has been authorized to check and verify a stamp in ...

You yanks live in this strange delusion that you're the only one that knows how to make silencers and that they must be made from materials designed to survive inside a nuclear reactor. I can pop down to the shop and buy a dozen center-fire cans in anything from aluminum to titanium, steel or carbo...

Re: Which AAC Brake on SRS .308 barrel for SDN-6?
The industry standard is 5/8x24. SRS should support the industry standard. Why don't they? What's happening at AAC? Did Freedom Group fire everybody? Does Abiqua work for Freedom Group? It's just that your response is something you hear from a corporate clown with no vision. Wow, jump to conclusion...

All SRS barrels are 3/4-24. SRS is a leader in precision rifles & AAC should support the barrels. Why don't they?

Final destination, or any state where you will spend time not traveling. For example, if you are traveling from your home in Florida to your friend's house in South Carolina and not stopping to spend any time in Georgia (except to get gas or other travel related things), then you don't need a form f...

Re: Do you carry at work?
Not at my current job, no weapons allowed. Certain termination and potential prison time. Previous jobs where it just a violation of company policy with the worst being possible termination, I would carry when in the field but not in the office. I worked in the field and would rarely go to an office...

Re: Notifying ATF about going out of state with MG?
Fill out and submit Form 5320.20, when you get it back approved you're good to go. My experience it takes anywhere from a couple of weeks to a month. You can submit the form for a year at a time, such as 01Sept2015 to 31Aug2016, and it will cover any trip during that time period to that state. Each ...

My Osprey was rebuilt by SiCo, they replaced the tube. I looked at some pics, the original tube had the logo but the new tube does not.

I had an issue happen with a lower I submitted a form 1 on and had to request it be withdrawn and resubmitted with a new lower. It's total BS that it takes over two months to get your money back. It's simply a couple keystrokes to process a refund. When a form is denied or withdrawn, it should be a...

Here is the text of HR2578... I can't find anything in there specifically addressing anything that could be considered pro-gun. You need to go to the non-PDF page for the Bill and click on the amendments tab, or better yet, the Amendments Agreed To tab. The PDF you linked just had the text of the m...

What can? Most recent designs have a piston that you swap out for different thread pitches. I have multiple pistons for my Osprey to use on multiple hosts with different pitches.

The assignment of property is for assigning property that you already own into the trust. If the trust is aquiring the suppressor then it is not needed.

Re: Register the suppressor to a corporation??
The last state I lived in decided that all corporations have to pay their fair share, even if they don't have any income, so they instituted a minimum corporate tax. Kinda sucks to be faced with the choice of paying an ongoing tax or paying $200 a pop to roll your NFA items out of your corporation a...

You can not posses an NFA item in a state where they are illegal. You can travel through VT, but you may not make unreasonable stops.
