Thank you Fulliautomatix.
I was hoping it was user serviceable. Really wanted a can for firing cast 45/70. Still a really neat suppressor!

Re: Review: Silencerco Hybrid
Thank you for the great review! Couple of questions.
Is this suppressor user serviceable?
Can you use the standard fixed barrel mounts from the octane .45?
Thanks, Dan

Re: Difference between the Liberty Kodiak and the Liberty Kodiak TL???
The Kodia TL has a titanium outer tube. The regular Kodiak has a stainless outer tube. I own the Kodiak. The tube is so recicoudly light despite being made of stainless I would just get that. Nice to be able to use an ultrasonic cleaner and put it in the dip. Not to mention the stronger stainless tu...

I didn’t know that was Mers. I did send him an email a couple days ago but never heard back. Guess he has sold them all.

WTB: SPR/M4 Muzzle Brake.
Does anyone have one for sale? I would be willing to either buy outright or could also trade a new never mounted SPR/M4 flash suppressor plus cash if someone was interested.
If anyone has any leads please let me know.
Thanks, Daniel

Gemtech Vortex 2 d and .22 magnum
I recently had my Gemtech Vortex 2 (the first suppressor I ever purchased) upgraded by Gemtech to a Vortex 2 d with full stainless baffle stack and stainless end cap. Just curious if anyone thinks this would be safe for use with a .22 magnum with a 16” barrel?
Thanks,
Dan

Jailbreak on MK12 DELTA
I purchased a DeGroat Mk12 DELTA suppressor about 3 years ago and was curious if anyone has jailbroken one? I also have some Gemtech Trinity fixed barrel thread mounts, threelug and booster and was curious if those would fit if I could back off the fixed barrel thread mount that came with it. Thanks...

Re: Is an NFA trust bank account necessary
Well if that’s the case I’ll just get rid of the account. I could always pay cash at my local dealer and then use a money order for the $200. That seems simpler than having a trust account for a purchase every year or two. BTW it is Wells Fargo who is requiring all accounts to have a minimum of $150...

Is an NFA trust bank account necessary
When I had my NFA trust drawn up my attorney advised me to form a bank account in the name of the trust and to use this account for purchasing NFA weapons. Well my local bank is now requiring me to keep $1500 minimum in my trust’s bank account which is up from the original $200 when I formed it. Doe...

Re: New .22 Host from Ruger, the SR 22.
I emailed Ruger about the SR 22 and a threaded barrel and here is their response: Comment / question: Are there any plans to offer the new SR-22 pistol with a threaded barrel option? If so do you have a time frame? It looks like a perfect gun for one of my suppressors if only the barrel was threaded...

Mike, what makes it so superior? Because it’s stronger? And what’s the deal with the o-ring?
Page 24 of the threading guide is what I need to give whoever is doing the threading correct?
Thanks for the quick reply, Dan

Re: Wanted: info thread pitch Element
Can a rear cap be purchased threaded in 7/16 X 28 tpi for the element? If so is this considered a silencer part? It would be nice to have a rear cap in 7/16 X 28 for the cheetah and then one in ½ X 28 tpi for everything else.
Thanks, Dan

Best thread pitch for .45 acp rifle?
I’m looking at having an MGM .45 acp rifle barrel made for my TC Encore for use with a Ti-Rant .45. Does AAC have any recommendations as to which thread pitch to go with for this project. The barrel muzzle diameter should be 0.725 inches so this leaves plenty of diameter for threads. From what I can...

It would be cool if he could do a monocore upgrade. It would be a big monocore however. Here it is next to my AAC SPR/M4

Re: Recore Ciener 5.56 reflex soppressor?
I have one of these too. The thing is huge. Has a bunch of aluminum baffles real close together and is made out of carbon steel. I’ve never even fired it. I was planning on adapting it onto an H&R single shot .223 but never had the barrel turned down and threaded for it. I’d be curious to know w...

Re: New alternative to the Destroyer Carbine
Well I checked here: http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmstab-5.1.cgi And they indicate that a Sierra 180 grain FMJ (0.753 in length) at 700 feet per second gives a stability factor of 3.239 which they indicate is (green) good. But is this good for just general use, or is it good enough for a di...

Re: Gun Safe
I have a small Diebold TL-15 (can fit broken down AR-15 just barely) but would definitely look at the Graffunder Safes and for a RSC Sturdy Safes are excellent. You can always go with a TL-15 or TL-30 rated safe for the handguns, suppressors, rifle bolts, cash, precious metals and stuff like that an...
Re: Rhino!!!
I called Douglas barrels about a year ago to get one of their stainless 1:11 twist .44 mag barrels and was told that they only sell the rifled blank and I would need to have it chambered, profiled and attached to my receiver. Sounds like a lot of work. I was hoping they could do all that for me at o...
Re: Rhino!!!
If we were ever to build Rhino's again, we would rebarrel them with a twist rate better suited for .44 SPCL subsonic ammo and a .44 SPCL chamber. With the introduction of the 77/357, I've been thinking of the Rhino too. What twist rate were you thinking of with the .44 magnum? I have one sitting ar...

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
I thought it sounded pretty high too. I haven’t sent the can out yet. Just priced out the service. I don’t believe AAC has indicated they will be offering an upgrade at any point in the future. The factory tool might help open it up. Maybe I’ll hold off until I at least get a look at that tool they ...

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
Liberty suppressors is performing the jailbreak on the can for $280 + $20 shipping. Jailbreak includes a new end cap with removal tool. I would rather do this than risk destroying the can. Oh well. I guess that’s what I get for buying the newest thing right when it comes out. Not only did I pay the ...
