I'd recommend a user-serviceable can like Liberty Cosmic or Lane LLC 458 can you can take apart to clean. I was taught to swab the bore after every shot, black powder is dirty, and may corrode stainless even. and make sure to post LOTS of pics and updates how that is working for ya' Got me intereste...

Re: AAC Cyclone vs Thunderbeast 30P-1
I finally got to try out a few Thunder Beast Arms suppressors at this years Suppressor shoot in Washington State. The Thunderbeast stuff has a stainless/Inconel cone shaped thread adapter that forces the suppressor to center when tightened. Pretty Smart. 200 yards wasn't a problem with no ear protec...

Re: YHM Cobra M2 45 and Subsonic 300 Blackout
Makes me wonder why YHM said "No" Liberty Mystic is a similar mono core design inside, and its rated for 223 & 300blk. Think its salesmanship? Liability? I know the YHM is aluminium, maybe the threads can't handle the pressure... I have a Contender in 44 and 1911A1, and I haven't heard ...

Gemtech 22 ammo is good stuff Shoots clean No jams yet in Ruger 10/22 with Tac Sol barrel with ruger and Butler creek 25rd mags works fine in SW M&P 22 handgun and Walther P22 And, yeah, its super quiet. Nobody noticed me shooting it at the range with muffs on. Much quieter than airsoft/paint ma...

Re: Khar Arms CW45 Suppressor Build [info gathering]
ATF has never looked at anything more than paperwork on form 1 stuff. But, I do know they go undercover in plain clothes and visit gun shows, gun shops and ranges actively looking for leads. I visited the ATF office in the Federal building in seattle after they busted an auto repair shop that was ma...

Micheal, Honestly, its not worth it to try to make your own. For the same amount for wait time as a form 1 from ATF you could just Quicken a trust and get a passport/lawyer/ back notary to bless it and just buy one of these from a dealer a few hundred bucks: http://www.thompsonmachine.net/?page_id=9...

Re: Sig suspends muzzle brake lawsuit vs ATF
Seriously, why isn't a gun muffler legal?! Anyone else think the suppressor laws are outdated? I'd say its safe to say suppressors have hit mainstream now..... But I'd be interested in seeing how the market would fallow if Sig could ship from the factory with this "muzzle brake" I'd think ...

The popular local suppressor guy, Chip at Cascade Armory recommends those Silencerco Octane's too Stainless inside guts that form a liner under the aluminum tube, full auto rated. I don't own a 9mm supressor yet. I'm no expert. I'm shopping for one too Osprey is pretty sexy though. I've been wanting...

I'm with you. Nice Shot. Why would you want to register it as 5.56 if you can let them know you'll be using 300blk, 9mm, 45socom/busmaster/whisper blaaa blaa.. Why not register it in 7" 10" 12" & 14 inches too while your at it. It registered. It's good - you know!? If they are try...

Re: Early Colt SP-1 with M-16 parts?
Before 2009 we couldn't SHOOT a legally owned suppressor, but a LLC or Inc, or trust could possess one. We just passed the SBR to law last (March 2014) month. But, could have TC Contender with both stock, carbine barrel, pistol barrel, and pistol grip in the same house. We could have a pistol AR low...

Re: Early Colt SP-1 with M-16 parts?
Rainier Arms is in WA and they've been selling all kinds of parts for years. Same thing with Colt SP1 ' S and 6903's marked LOE. Over the counter. But I wonder if anyone has had to go to court. Every case I've heard about, they were caught with illegal unregistered suppressors and unregistered class...

I'm sure is a unique law to Washington state
We had no class III, SBR or and only 4000 people had cans as an LLC or Inc. Until the trust became mainstream in 2006-ish
I will try to find you the link when I'm off work

Re: Early Colt SP-1 with M-16 parts?
I live in WA. One part of a machine gun in your possession counts as a machine gun. Including a M-16 bolt. But, Colt, CMMG, and a few other brands all come from the factory semi auto with what looks like a full auto style bolt. Makes me wonder what kind of wizzardry or legal agreement is going on so...

I've fire RANB's 510 Whisper! Huge impact! Not much more kick than a 44 mag carbine, or SKS - but WAY more knockdown!

Re: The New YHM Stinger came in this week, nice looking cans
I own a MITE, and really happy with the performance and effectiveness with it so far, but
I would have rather had a baffle design like this or the Sparrow instead of the slant SoundTech design
I would love to see something like this for the M2 in 45acp!
