Re: Low Weight 300Blk Can - Ti and 17-4
I like it but why did you deviate from the Omega baffle which is so very close in design.Using a approved copy I think Hollywood quiet is not far off.You can still incorporate many of the features you have and keep the light weight.I can see a few changes that would save weight and improve performa...

Re: OTB Suppressor Questions
the over the barrel as you call it is properly termed a Reflex suppressor. Using that term as a search here will lead to lots of reading. Basically, the reflex portion doesn't help dramatically with sound suppression. It will help a little, but not enough by itself to justify the added weight. What...

Re: Best .223 can
The new Sig 5.56 Ti cans are the best-sounding 5.56 cans i've ever used. I can't speak to the long term performance or any of that, but I was very surprised by my initial experience. Also, there are many more factors to consider than just those two. Look at (in no order): - sound - cost - size - we...

Re: Best .223 can
The Griffin Armament SPR is IMHO the best sounding 5.56mm silencer.
The Hybrid fast attach/direct thread aids in little to no P.O.I. Shift.
And the reflex aspect is really nice there is very little forward of the muzzle. 4.5" and low gas blow back.

Re: When did the "New 762-SD" start?
I believe Ive had them in inventory for almost a year. Now just a FYI different platforms, different ammo, barrel length, ect To my ear they are not as quiet as the 762 SDN-6. Just one persons opinion. And no, far from a fast attach Cyclone. the 762-SD has a 3 1/2" expansion chamber. Cyclone se...

MGM, To blame Silencer Shop (and now Bender) on slowing down the system is laughable. You need to point the finger at the ATF and their developers for making such a craptacular system that they need to shut it down for most of the day. I've designed and written these types of software systems and d...

Re: What's the word on the Kestrel 556?
Kinda heavy for a thread on suppressor. And in the history of rifle suppressors, no one has ever filled one up unless shooting 22lr (in which case it's stupid heavy!) so I'm not sure at all what the appeal is. If AAC ever released it, the Ranger3 would be an excellent thread on can. Top of the line...

Re: Integrally Suppressed 45acp Bolt Action
Maxim (Alexander Maxim, of machine gun fame) patented a silencer design where the can is below center. I presume it was to allow the weapon to use it's regular sights. My impression of the DeLisle is that it is a copy of that design. I guess my only real concern would be that it not rotate in the s...

Why are you posting the entire build on a SILENCER site and no baffle pictures? Sorry but CONTRACT is a lame excuse for a reason not to post silencer pictures in the SILENCERSMITHING section. If that was the case you shouldn't have posted it on a silencer forum. Nice silencer tube, and work on the ...

i live oversea so forget the Form1 s--t. When we bring up having the necessary forms to new members, we do so to help people keep out of potential legal trouble. So, we don't really consider it "s--t" but rather prudent advice. It kind of makes you sound like you have the attitude of many...
