I hope FN attends the NRA Convention in Louisville, KY in May.

I'd love to handle one.

My nephew just bought a "Professional" from SRT on the MK III. That's all you can get now. I sent Doug a new MKII Government Model to convert. Fluted barrel: it's turned down anyway. Both guns are incredible. In sound and accuracy, and super machine work. No silly 1.5 inch barrel length li...

Look into the Surefire. At 19 ounces and QD it's worth a look.

The QD flash hider is good looking too.

Downside: about $1400.00

Upside: 19 ounces

I have a brand new Colt from my HBAR, never used it.
I have no idea what it's worth. I've never bothered to even check.
I'll sell it though FWIW.

Re: yep...

In the end..I still would like for Gemtech to say something but I highly doubt they will no matter what. I wish they would too. I find it so hard to believe they would just ignore the whole thing as though it never happened. Maybe it's some kind of "new world marketing" that is far above ...

I see, thanks. I'm going to use a peel washer to try to get the Bi-lock lugs sitting at 3 and 9 o'clock. This is Gemtech's new recommendation to keep blow black on the optics to a minimum.

Surefire timing wheel ???

Over on arfcom a guy posted asking about Surefires timing wheel for flash suppressors and I guess silencers. I hate to ask but wtf is that all about? There is even a ring on the very outside of the wheel with colors listed like red+green, red+red, etc. No other suppressor manufacturers use them to m...

The G5 was misrepresented. Scott were you and others defrauded? Only in the mis-spoken words of that Gemtech spokesman at 2007 SHOT Show. In my own case, it was a fairly fast deal. Robert had posted the video of the new robot welder at AAC and shown some pics of the new welded cores. Very impressiv...

If you bought the G5 because of the video of the sho0t show then you should contact Gemtech about a replacement with welds or a refund. The point is, everyone here thought before the test that it was welded, but this cop knew prior to this that it was not welded, and accepted it as common knowledge...

You would'nt believe what I just heard about the G5....

Is it or was it common knowledge in part of the silencer world that the G5 was not a welded core? Perhaps it was............... I called my son this AM just to tell him I picked up my G5 yesterday. He went on to tell me he was talking to an ex Detroit SWAT PD member just yesterday morning and the co...

I just got my G5 yesterday, hate to even shoot it. I may leave it in the box for a few months, wait on GT to make a comment. What are the chances they would take back all G5's and insert a new fully welded core? That's what Gemtech should do to make this right. The spokesman in the video saying &quo...

You just got damn lucky on that trade. Be thankful. I have a NIB G5 but just read where AAC is not interested in any more G5's. Like RS said,
"why enter his Subaru in the Indy 500 twice", the point's been made.
Congrats on the trade!!!
