I have an Advanced Armament Company Cyclone suppressor (7.62) threaded 5/8x24 that I am going to part with. It is the previous style (tube is slick no ribs). This suppressor has less than 100 rounds through it. I am asking $500.00 OBRO. I live in South Carolina.

That is the problem that I have. I am not interested in the military side but the way I read the regulations it does not have to be exclusive to military items it includes items that could be used by military. This would seem to include any suppressor item????

No exporting at all. I understand the ATF does not enforce the State Department regulations. I am interested in getting a type 7 FFL and an SOT 2. I have heard that after paying the license fees for this that you have to register with the State Department under the ITAR regulations and pay some type of fee in the neighborhood of $2250.00 per year. I see nothing about this on the ATF website...

I realize they are American Manufactured. I suppose I need to say American design. While the Ase Utra will be manufactured in the USA by Sabre Defense, it is not an American design. It was designed in Finnland and will be manufactured under license by Sabre Defense.

I understand that Sabre Defense will have the Ase Utra Suppressors sometime around February 2008. I am interested in their suppressors and wanted feedback from anyone who owns them or has shot them? How do they compare to the major American can manufactureres? Durability? Sound? Etc.
