Re: may not want to deal with this bank
I don't want to deal with any bank, which is why I am a member of a FCU. This is not the 1rst anti-gun BOA stunt I have heard of, so I'm not surprised.

sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new to suppressors.
Did they give you the date of the change of status? Approval should be within 30 days of that date.

Re: Top cans for 7.62x54 or .308 Winn?
I'm not shocked. Everyone is busy juggling the Christmas list and the stockpile list. Anyway, I'm considering getting 2-30 cal cans simultaneously, a Liberty Freedom and an AAC 762 SDN-6. The AAC only adds 6.1" to the firearm OAL. This would reside on a 300 BLK SBR I am building. The Freedom wo...

Re: Red Jacket in Gun Test magazine
Saiga S-12s, and I have two, generally don't run well on Winchester Shells. Mine won't run Winchester, be it Low, or High Brass. They love the Federal and Remington, though.

"Pending Approval"
Ever hear of that one? Well, you have now. I called today to check on the status of an Item, a Bowers Vers50, to see if it went Pending. It had, on 11/26/12. I always verify my that items go Pending. When I do, I check on any item near approval. When I asked about another Item, a Leonidas, that went...

Re: Quietest suppressor for a Ruger 22/45 lite?
It does not have to be a lite I just thought it would be cheaper to get a gun that comes with a pre-threaded barrel and I am a Ruger fan. 22/45 MKIII comes in a threaded barrel model. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_49_74/products_id/74663/Ruger+MKIII+2245+22LR+4+12%22+...

Re: Bowers Vers 50?
Popularity Contests aside, my 3 main concerns are: (1) Is the Bowers Vers50 a quality product? (2) Does it give good/reasonable suppression and have a good tone? (3) Does Bowers stand behind their product? If I have an issue with my purchase, will I be left out in the weeds? If the answer to those ...

Re: Bowers Vers 50?
His page says .510 and smaller and UP TO 2200fps, then why would you ask 2700 fps is ok? Seems he made it pretty clear. I mistakenly underestimated the pressure generated by a .308Win. I thought that pushing a 325gr round ~2000fps would be in the same neighborhood as pushing a 168gr round up to 270...

.50 Beowulf is not a high pressure round either. 33k psi max, it uses large pistol primers.

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
I'm suprised that no one mentioned the Huntertown Arms Guardian .22. For 200 bucks, its rivals anything out there and its user friendly and comes with a lifetime warranty. the uncoated aluminum baffles...and no stainless blast baffle is one of the main reasons.... Bingo! It's just not on par with t...

Re: Phase 1 (deciding) would like some help
Yeah, funny thing is, I do have an AR-15 and I found out ooo the mystic can handle .223 but not the Infiniti, but that's not that big of a deal anyways! I'll probably fall into the addiction and just buy another one... Lol soo looks like the Infiniti it is.. I'm sorry if this is off topic but what ...

Thanks for the feedback black-sheep. I am waiting for pricing on the Sparrow VS Essence from my local guy and will go from there. I am leaning towards the Essence at this point. The blowback is important to me because my kids will learn to shoot on my .22's in the future and I want the experience t...

Does anyone have feedback on the Liberty Essence, or is it still too new? I cannot find anything on youtube or the errornet that's not from Liberty or one of their dealers. Re: Phase 1 (deciding) would like some help
Get the Infinti. I shot them both side by side and the weight makes a difference when mounted on a pistol host. I shot 9mm and 300 BLK subs thru the demo Infinti, which is my intended application. Neither are high intensity rounds. I should have my Infinti in Dec or Jan. Dave stands behind his produ...

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
I enjoy shooting my Kodiak TL, very much. I just bought a 5K round case of CCI SV, but I doubt I will ever shoot out the TL, though I may shoot more than several cases, before it is all said and done. I went with the Kodiak TL over the Essence because weight is not much of an issue between those two...

Re: Infiniti Silencer Preview Video
I just uploaded a video of me shooting my new Liberty Infiniti on my Gen 4 G17. This can is scary quiet and does an amazing job of suppressing even supersonic rounds. I talk a bit about what a pain in the ass my Glock factory-threaded barrel is because of its left hand threads. It's not something I...

NFA Tracker is a useful tool. You can review a few pages and discern trends. See http://www.silencertalk.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=90601 But, that Calculator is worse than worthless. I saw numerous others on the Tracker who had their item with dates close to mine, leading me to predict that...

Re: Best bolt action .22 rifle for suppressor ?
I am kicking the tires to see where is the best place to apply limited resources for a suppressor. One option is buckmark handgun. If I go that route, I will likely get a tac sol 4inch barrel threaded. (My understanding is that a shorter barrel is quieter and more effective than a longer barrel.) W...

Re: Bowers Vers 50?
I've been trying to get some info on the Bowers 50 too. I want to use it on an SBR'd 458 SOCOM and a 16" Beowulf. I assume it is a sealed can? Any idea on DB reduction? What are the baffles and tube made of? The cost of additional thread adapters? Is it rated for 50 BMG subs? Thanks! Do you lo...

I search through this website can't find a thorough Form 1 procedure. Anyway I plan to SBR my AR15 doing it via "Trust". I have an existing trust on my pistol suppressor. 1. How do I include the SBR form 1 on my existing Trust? 2. I used quicken to do my original Trust. 3. I live in PA 4....

Re: Is there a way to check progress of a suppressor transfe
If you have the can SN#, you can submit the F-4, before your SOT even receives the can, if your SOT will sign. Wait a minimum of 4 weeks. I have a Leonidas on order, have submitted the F-4,, check cashed, and it is not finished being built.
