One major difference is the rings/ base. Yes I admit I do use a cheap Tasco Rimfire scope on my 10/22 sometimes... BUT I long ago switched to Weaver rail and rings.

Ear plugs are generally rated between 25 to 29 decibel reduction. The ear muffs worn on the head typically do a little better than plugs. I have used both while serving on board submarines working in the engine room next to noisy turbines. The ear muffs are easier to wear and are more reliable as a...

Short of tucking my shirt in, I haven't found any clothing yet that won't allow me to conceal my Glock 26. I have resorted to ghetto carry (tucked in waistband, no holster) if I need it to be ultra-hidden, but even my girlfriend doesn't know when I carry most of the time. Well thats the great thing...

If this was true, and had happened to me, the police radio dispatcher would be informed that the officers were breaking in and looting, and under federal and state laws all warrentless entry into my residence will continue to be met with lethal force.

I will reintegrate the above. There is no way that you can build a 1911 that will be good quality for your budget of $350. heck the barrel in my .45 is about as much as your budget. Here is the deal. If all you want to do is shoot pop cans at 10 yards, then ANY 1911 will work, assuming that you are ...

Ruger, Browning, Smith make good guns. P22 is a toy - it is fun, but it has its limits. This is the best way I have heard it put. The only thing I can add is this: The P22 with out the can just does not feel right. With a can on, it balances out perfectly. I will not shoot my P22 without a can, and...
