beretta 92fs and osprey a go without xl piston

i got a beat up 92fs in trade and for fun i threaded the barrel only to find out the guide rod hits the osprey preventing it for working. so i googled it only to find out i need an xl piston. so i thought to my self F@#$ that. i put the guide rod in the lathe and cut it so it was about 1/16" aw...

ok im going to g with the osprey cause if it blows up i shouldnt have to pay for another tax stamp. no i just have to find the quietest 22 can :shock:

i like the osprey cause you dont need taller sights and the serial number is on the booster, but dont like that i cant pull it apart myself to clean it. i plan on threading everything pistol caliber i have and running my new can on them all im sure ill be running my 22 the most. i like the ti rant c...

i ran it today with a coastal ultima 45 suppressor and it worked great with blazer aluminum ammo

anything i need 2 know about a glock 21 with a osprey

i have a glock 21 with a storm lake barrel and am about to get a osprey 45 i have a stainless guide rod with a 19lbs spring will this run fine with the osprey? thanks for the help guys

my buddy got his forum 1 awhile ago and with him i made him a can. nothing that great it was a real budget job. here is a run down of the can its a 4D mag light body and a monolithic core that was eyeballed at best on my mill. well the can was alway much quieter then any outback's or tac 65's i or ...

why the hole in step 10?? Some of the gas the gets trapped by the front of disc of the K-baffle (the dished portion). The 'mouse-hole' allows a portion of that gas to get back into the "K" portion of the baffle before it. Hope that's not too hard to understand. think i would need that for...

you guys are right im paying 200 for the stamp i might aswell have the quietest can possible. i talked with a local machine shop and they said as long as i have my forum 1 in hand and there when they make it they will make me what ever i want. so here are the specs i made for a k baffle. let me know...

if i did a 1.50" in dia x 10.50" length tube with .50" front and back caps so the inner area would be 9.50" then used .500" spacing with 15 baffles with a 2.00" blast chamber

how do you guys think that would work?
