Re: Math for making baffle on lathe, help please

These magnetic dial indicators can be stuck in places and used to measure carriage and cross slide movement. They're pretty cheap, sometimes I drop them and don't feel bad like when I drop a Mitutoyo indicator. http://www.shars.com/magnetic-indicator-back-w-1-dial-indicator http://www.shars.com/medi...

Baffle bore surface area.

I've finished most of everything except for the openings into the outside cavities of the baffles. Looking down the baffle stack it seems that my baffles have a lot of surface area along the bore, I don't believe this would be the most effective way to disrupt gas flow. What kind of cuts should I ma...

Re: Need nonstandard thread protector

Did yall figure it out.

I can make aluminum thread protectors pretty easily, I am not a vendor, I'm just a hobbiest and am not sure how this board works if there are vendor requirements.

SOT dealer FFL/SOT lapse during F4 approval.

Long story short, a replacement warranty silencer transfer is taking way longer than it should have, and the FFL SOT who is doing my transfer forgot to send the Form4 in for 4 months (April) and his FFL/SOT expired in October with my FORM4 still pending. What is going to happen? Do I have to transfe...

Re: Where do you get your SS tubing?

I've been looking into aluminum tubing as well. At first I was considering tubing from SD tac, but then looked for raw tubing sold in longer lengths because of the price.

I never considered the tubing would be so out of spec, perhaps buying thicker wall tube then truing dimensions will be necessary.

Re: Form 1 45 ACP can with booster

I have a similar build planned, but am planning on a full aluminum build with a silencerco booster since I have a few extra.

Can you discuss why you chose stainless over aluminum?

It looks great!

I am! 38's only. Sounds like a quiet pellet gun!

The bullets thump the back stop and that's louder than the report!

I like how he claims New Yorkers can expect to live 3 years longer than average. I'm wondering if he's even been to New York City.

Lmao.

The new piston is designated .578x28 V2, which will be etched on the back of the piston.

Check SilencerCo YouTube for an explanation on what the piston changed.

Re: 3rd time shooting my Osprey45 and ARGGGGGGHHHHHHH :(

Just talked to Mike on the phone, he's sending me a piston to use on the 45 tactical so I dont have any issues. Awesome customer service!! Not so impressed with the fn customer service. My rear sight actually was loose enought to fall out of my slide. I inquired if the repair would cost me anything ...
