Re: OVERRUN 9MM MICRO SUPPRESSOR $189 BLOWOUT!
Today I received word that my Form 3 was approved recently, Thompson Machine finished the 1/2x28 end cap, and my suppressor is now en route to my transferring dealer. Just a heads up to anyone else who's been waiting on a 1/2x28 DB9.
TM is good people. Thanks Brooks!

My emails aren't being answered and there are some serious questions that are coming up from the ATF and my dealer.

Re: 300 WSM or 300WM through 762sdn6
10-4. I guess I'll have to stay with my (still pending) SDN-6 for now. But the 300-TM you showed me at GG was really sweet! Perhaps sometime down the road I'll invest in a larger bore dedicated can. I don't even have a 308 host yet, let alone 300 WM! Also, thank you again for helping me on that barr...

Thanks for posting the update here, Mike. I assume that given the reduced volume, the SDN-6 will be much louder than a purpose-built 300 WM or 338 can, yes?

Mike Mers rated it for 300 Win Mag on barrels of 24 inches or longer: http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=66021 That's the only mention I can find though. Perhaps AAC has backed off that warranty (for either engineering concerns or profit motivations). Best to send them an ema...

Re: first silencer question
Use a compact or mid size quick attach 30 cal can on all the center fire rifle calibers (my choice would be AAC 762-SDN-6), and for the 22, use a dedicated disassemble-able 22 lr can (or, for more caliber flexibility, a disassemble-able 9mm can like the SWR Octane). Best choice in that category is t...

I would do this only after talking to Gun Gallery first. GG's customer service is light years ahead of Shooters'.vtoc wrote:Contact "Shooters" in Jacksonville to see what they have in stock.

If there is a date that will matter, it won't be the 9th, but rather the effective date of the new rule. My best guess is that it will be late January or early February. The 9th is simply the end of the comment period.

The first post says that more pictures are on the way. Any chance they'll be up soon? Also, can TM confirm that the specs speculated about on the first page are the true specs?

As I understand it, Dec. 10 is the earliest date upon which the new rule could become effective, and the rule will most likely apply to forms submitted on or after its effective date.

With all the talk about the 51T mount and a bit of a wobble I got mine out and tried to move it on the mount and was tight as a tick on a hound dog so I don't know what the big deal is. this is the experience of the vast majority of people as well. I've been apparently lucky with mine too. The moun...

Also Louisiana has it's own registration requirement. Not sure if that effects you since you aren't a resident. I would give the LSP a call and see. Ask for Shana Johnson. (225) 925-4867 This is the reason I was unable to take my silencers with me to Louisiana two summers ago. You must register in ...

Of course, I don't dispute the "it's your money and your decision" principle. I'm simply saying that I really like the concept but would personally have chosen another caliber, one more tailored to short-barreled applications. Also, I realize that the OP has somewhat mitigated the baffle e...

Very cool gun. Nowhere did I see mention of the caliber in the initial post, but assuming it's .223, you chose the wrong caliber for the concept. By a long shot. Its probably a .223 since its an SPR/M4. SBR length in a bolt gun works fine up to around 400 yards in my experience. -B My point was tha...
