Re: considering 9mm AR PDW build...
TROS has a GREAT 5" barrels! I had their 5" 3-lug on my AR15 9mm and loved it. I would also suggest the Slash 9Q-T buffer, 11.5oz, as you will probably notice a LOT of ejection port noise. New this would cost you $140 +shipping. Buffer Link: http://www.heavybuffers.com/ar15carbine Good luc...

Re: MKE SBR!!
How much did all the 922R parts run you? Basically $100...I sent off the pistol to a buddy/SOT and he stripped out the hammer, trigger, sear, trigger box and cocking handle then replaced all that with US parts. He also added both the stock and hand guard. The SBR engraving and registration was also...

I have scene a LOT of AR's on here but not one was a TROMIX...well I got one. Nothing special just a little rare as I asked Mr. Rumore how many he produced in total and it was less than 325...I got #133.

I guess I'm just ranting. I don't think it is any of their business what firearms I have any what is or isn't in the NFA Registry.
Just my PO'd .02 and I'll be quiet now.

Is the light low enough to mount a can on it? I have an A3 stock that is collecting dust right now. So you know the B&T MP5 stocks are not made in the US and won't help you on 922r. No, the light is not low enough to mount a can and hense the reason I'm selling. Is your A3 stock US MADE and wha...

Re: MKE to SBR via custom builder
BTW...I'm a complete HK newbie...I know little to nothing about the weapon platform. If you haven't already, spend some time reading the forum over at HKPro.com. Bouncing between there and here...seems I'm not as welcome there though as much as I am here. Maybe cuz I'm "the new guy." :(

Re: MKE to SBR via custom builder
What issues are you seeing with your MKE? I have played with a couple and it ran better than one of the "professional" builds. No real functioning issues as I have not put enough rounds through it but someone knowledgable might see differently. I just basically want the little weld imperf...

MKE to SBR via custom builder
I'm looking to SBR my MKE pistol but do not want to engrave my trust info (a-la Form1). Are there any professional builders that will go through this weapon and clean up any issues and reg it as a SBR?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike

Re: Buying out of state question.
OK, to lay out the entire situation... Individual out of state is paying for first Form 4 of SBR and shipping. I then will complete my F4 and pay dealer transfer fee when approved. I will ensure the SBR has full value insurance. I hope this clears up and "What if" questions. Thanks everyon...

Talked to ATF today and they confirmed that from an individual to SOT "OUT OF STATE" it can be mailed after approval of the F4.

Buying out of state question.
OK, I know I'm not going crazy but...there is an out of state gentlemen, in Colorado, I wish to buy something off of whom is NOT an SOT . He is certain that he can do a Form 3 to my SOT and simply mail the item to him here in Arizona. Has anyone ever heard of doing this with success? I always though...
