Re: Silencer built with hand tools?
Hey they were out of coke cans. Will Diet Coke cans make for a slimmer silencer? No, Aluminum is too expensive. You want to use the 20 oz plastic bottles. Remember, he wants to make this as easy to build with hand tools (cheap) as possible. Besides, I didn't know they started making big coke ...

Re: Silencer built with hand tools?
Newbie here. Although I am a ffl07 and SOT I am wondering whether I could build a silencer or intergally silenced barrel with hand tools, dremel, and drill press. Is it possible? Also, no welder except for a $30 stick welder which I don't know how to use. Regards, d65 It is possible to do so with m...

Not at all. I'm just wanting to be an informed consumer. This seems like a great deal. With the $200 NFA Tax, once you buy the can you can't very well return the item if you are dissatisfied. PS: Twisted panties can be very enjoyable. At that price, why not buy one and if you don't like it ta...

Re: What guns do you own, and why?
I have 2 10-22's. They had a sale and I saved $50. Would have saved more if I hadn't bought them in the first place come to think of it. God, I hate their clever marketing! . No, actually one has threads for a silencer and the other one has yet to be used even once. it was going to be used on ...

Re: When is a silencer born?
So I machine a tube I intend to use as a barrel extension. Somehow the ATF becomes aware of the tube. Who decides my intent? There's all kinds of germs on the street, yo. Normally they would become aware of it once someone brags to friends and a concerned citizen who contracts a bout of the Rat Flu...

Re: Suppressed demi-semiautomatic pistol choices?
Yeah, I am still trying to justify keeping these two things and so far its looking like I really have no use for the D/E aside from its 'cool factor'. I can almost get 2 barrels for the contender (or a whole new gun) for the price of a 10" D/E barrel. Who knows, they might also say they do not ...

Re: How is this legal?
Going by these descriptions, this thing is no different than the Tac trigger that had a little piece of steel band strapping and a tiny christian cross which you were supposed to jam up in front of the trigger on a 10-22. I tried that pos and all it ever did was scratch the finish on my trigger. It ...

once you try TIG, you will not want to bother with MIG unless you really have to get the thing welded fast. Especially if you only use flux core.

Suppressed demi-semiautomatic pistol choices?
What semi automatic pistol is a good choice if you don't want to fling the brass? I am thinking of a desert eagle perhaps with a plugged up (or undrilled) gas port to keep it shut unless manually cycled. Perhaps a Contender though I can't find any barrels in 9mm or something that could be loaded to ...

Hmm...it shoots once per trigger pull, eh? Then...what exactly are they selling besides the fancy video? All it needs here is a that scruffy old guy from Ghost Rider leaning up against a Chevy truck and looking up at you from under a sweaty cowboy hat while chewing on a wheat stalk and playing a Tak...

Re: fienstein wants ar,s under nfa
Yes, tws, yes there are people that will buy into this buy back program. Repeat the same lie over and over and they will have a dirty conscience. They will feel that their gun will be used in a shooting soon so they want to see it destroyed but at least get some money out of it. Of course they do no...

Shes a fucking idiot! I'm not registering A FUCKIN THING unless it's an SBR or FA and even that pisses me off! Why can't she die from a stroke already? Why don't people vote her ass out of there is a better question. Then she can be run over by a bus. The same bus she is trying to throw law abiding...

Just get it silver soldered and rest assured it won't come apart if you don't want to use locktite or somthing similar. If 1995 worries you, then the low meting temperature of silver solder of 450C should not be a problem.

Re: Why isn't Class 3 more popular?
Its because people want everything 'easy'. They listen to those who know nothing and have nothing (Class 3 wise). Or they fear "The Man" who will now have their fingerprints and this makes them feel they will be like a convict or something. Then there are those who beleive the stories that...

How come it looks like it got spiked into the ground because those two screws would not come out (b/c of rust) ? Or you just got lucky with a poor batch of contaminated metal that they made that slide out of. I'll give you $5 for that gun, broken slide and what not.

I always send a check, I always fill out every part of the form myself, I meet the transferring dealer and have him sign, I mail it myself. When the check shows as being cashed I forget about it till the phone call from the dealer. My dealer kinda "lost" my gun. They had it in the overflo...

Re: Starting to worry they lost my paperwork
It just seems like you sent it off forever ago. Be patient. The papers are probably in the mail as you type though no update has been given. Funny your dealer wants to send the papers himself. Its not like you are going to steal them from the mail instead of mailing them yourself (which makes it fee...

Pump is better. Nothing says: "I MEAN BUSINESS!" better than the sound of a round being chambered. Not even Wayne Wright can do that, him and that stupid cowboy hat!

Why keep them? Sell your used guns for a king's ransom here and get new ones when you get there for a fraction of the US price. Make some money.
