http://www.denisemilani.com/ :P Denice's website is down for the foreseeable future. Back in December, her "former" partners with Periscope Media ripped her pretty bad & now the wrangling is in the court system. BTW: today is Denice Milani's birthday... same as Oleg Volk's. She turns ...

Commercially available .308 subsonic stable in 1: 11.25 ROT?

Is there a commercially manufactured subsonic cartridge available that will be stable in such a slow ROT (1: 11.25):?: Feed reliability in an RFB is essential; cycling the action would be sweet, but I can live with manually operating the bolt/carrier to eject & feed. Unfortunately, I do not relo...

IMHO, the 6x MGO ACOG is THE perfect compliment to the performance characteristics of the little bullpup. Eye relief & elevation are right on the money for comfortable .308 shooting. It's a BIG scope weighing in at 2.5lbs; that does NOT go unnoticed as it all adds up PDQ. My gun is about 13.5lbs...

Re: WA2000

When I emailed the guy at Carl Walther USA, he said their NIB WA2000s in 300 Win Mag were listed for $75,000. That was several years ago, as well... That would be Earl Sheehan Jr who owns 17 WA-2000s... so, he's basically cornered the market in the USA. He's real proud of his gear!

Talk to Lynn or Judy McWilliams; some of their other associates are not always up to speed on these "vintage" items. I'm not sure what they might have in inventory or parts for these gizmos, but a friend of mine found a couple of them on the boards; the usual suspects: Sturmgewehr, ST, SR ...

IF ONLY Kel-Tec outsourced a specialty run of custom, polygonal rifled, 22" OL, progressive gain-twist, stainless, match grade, heavy, fluted, threaded barrels, they could cover ALL bases with ONE barrel. It could stabilize a wide variety of projo weights/configurations & make the proposed,...

So, despite all the preference for QD mounts, the reality is that thread on cans have a specific advantage over QD's in the "Gas in Face" problem. Nice analysis. OK, back to the KelTec. See a few of you guys have one. Two questions: * Has anyone tried subsonic rounds in it? The rifling in...

The one at SilencerShoot 2009 had an AAC can on it and was giving some serious gas in the face, unlike anything I've ever seen. The inside of my lips were black and I had a streak across my face. Also, oh snap, Surley! The combination of "duration of pressure" from the suppressor & a ...

I'm shooting from a partial enclosure into a 100m clearing. The crack of the shock wave is far e'nuff infront of the muzzle as to not bother me much at all. With subsonic ammo, that will not be an issue. It's NOT just me... it's everyone who has heard this suppressed RFB & commented about dB red...

With all due respect, if you think that is hearing safe - judging from your own hearing - you should probably have your ears checked. My RFB has other modifications to the gas system that include a specialized short throw gas piston & a way of dealing with external porting. The AAC Cyclone is a...

I dug up a vintage AWC catalog. The RECOIL REGULATOR measures: 1.75"OL x 1.075"OD. Weighs: 4.70oz & made from 304 stainless steel. It has internal threads where it screws on to the muzzle & external threads on the other end (same profile as the bbl of the pistol).

Any updates? Sorry, the end cap threads changed many years ago, and we do not have a booster that will fit it. As I said before, try to get the stand alone device from AWC. The item that Matt is referring to is called the AWC "RECOIL REGULATOR" http://i34.tinypic.com/nbc403.jpg

The AAC CYCLONE suppressor works extremely well on my Kel-Tec RFB Bullpup. So well in fact, that it's totally hearing safe! Mine is a pretty snug fit & I don't have to keep checking the can for spin-off. POA/POI does NOT change when shooting with the suppressor attached. Friggin' AWESOME combo.....

I bought a huge stash of IMI/SAMSON a few years back; it's not so huge anymore! :(

When that dried up due to lack of importation, I switched to TTI Armory when it was in-stock. FIOCCHI is a whole lot easier to get these days from a variety of sources.
