(Reanimating this ancient thread just because I just noticed the mag question, and this thread is one of the top google results for anyone researching the ST10)
Mags I have tried in the ST10:
Beretta 92
Sig P226
CZ75
Browing Hi Power

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
Thanks for the review - I've been curious about some of these imports. Are you going to try and find a threaded barrel that will fit it? Glad you appreciated the info. It really is a nice piece of hardware. As of now, my only suppressor is in .22LR, so I wouldn't have much to gain from a threaded b...

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
Thanks again for all the help with this. I'm thinking that it might be just a little oversized for what I'm looking for, but I think it's one of the most interesting new products on the market and a compact version would make my decision just about a done deal without ever even put the pistol in my...

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
It LOOKS to me like a lower from a EAA witness and the slide and slide lock from a USP. I was not talking workings simply looks. Holding the slide to the Witness for the pic the length is the same. Ah, fair enough. The frames do certainly bear visual similarities, and the safety works in the same f...

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
You know what I was saying.. Yes, I think I do. My point was just that this ST10 has very little in common with EAA's past Witness models, which are CZ75 clones. The most unique feature of the CZ design is the slide-in-frame rail system, which this pistol does not have. Functionally and aesthetical...

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
Indeed, it uses a standard recoil spring system. I wouldn't say it's thinner than the Beretta. They're very close. There is no key lock system. I certainly would consider it too large for concealed carry. I bought it as a range gun, primarily.

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
Maybe it is just me but I would all that a EAA with a slide that looks usp-ish. Well, EAA isn't a manufacturer, they're an importer. They've historically imported the Tanfoglio Witness series of CZ75 clones from Italy. They've recently started importing pistols such as this one made by Sarsilmaz of...

Hi Pete,
Here are those pictures you asked for.
Didn't bother my photographer friend this time, so these are courtesy of the iPhone.

Re: Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame
I've certainly heard about this legendary HK snobbery, but this was the first time I've ever experienced it firsthand. Honestly, I really believe that the singular reason that I got the slapdown from the HKpro mods is that greatmoose and I, the only people in the thread who actually own this pistol,...

I joined the forum just so I could ask you some questions here! First of all, thanks for being a risk taker so that the rest of us can benefit! Alright, on to my questions. 1. Can you post pics next to a more commonly known pistol ( Glock, cz75, Beretta 92fs, etc. ) ? I would really love to see com...

Review of the Sarsilmaz ST10 (USP clone with alloy frame)
I originally posted this report/review to HKPro, thinking it would be most relevant there, as the ST10 is clearly a clone of the USP, albeit with an alloy frame. They moved it to a pro-only section and asked me to pay $25 to access my own post. I put some effort into the review/report, so I was pre...

On page 25 of the SR22 pistol's manual, it says that threaded barrels are available from Ruger. I think we'll see them very soon.

Re: Bersa 22lr?
Mine's the firestorm in most of those pics. I love that goddamn pistol. If Bersa made a 1/2x28 threaded model and had even half of Walther's production/publicity, that would be the end of the P22. It was a bitch to get threaded, but still worth it, IMO. Feel free to PM if you have any questions abou...

My sentiments exactly. I guess this means they'll be worth more at least... not that I'd ever sell.Selectedmarksman wrote:0.0
I'm glad I got mine when I did. It runs like a clock and was a steal compared to the US made crap.

Transferring by changing trustee: why not?
I'm quite sure that this can't be done legally, but I'm trying to determine specifically why not, out of sheer curiosity, mostly. Example: I own an NFA item via a trust. I sell it to someone and simply name them as a trustee and then remove myself as a trustee, thus transferring ownership and dodgin...

Ah, I was under the impression that .5" was the standard. I keep my suppressor at another address, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I have some spacers for my AR, but they do seem like they'd be too thick...

Re: Moving from ME to GA with a .22 suppressor
Just to clarify, as I am moving down to GA and spending a few weeks looking for a permanent address while staying with relatives, would I take the suppressor with me and then fill out the 5320.20 form once I have a new address? Would doing this violate any laws?

Savage must've gotten the message regarding the threading on these rifles, because I just picked one up (28702) and it has 0.5" of threading.

Re: Moving from ME to GA with a .22 suppressor
Just afraid that it won't be as fun. I usually like to buy pallets of wally world diet soda and explode them at the pit. I doubt I'll be able to do stuff like that. I guess I'll just miss the freedom and isolation of shooting in the Maine woods.

Re: Moving from ME to GA with a .22 suppressor
North of Atlanta. Looking at places in Duluth, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and Marietta. Also going to need to find a good place to shoot. I'm used to just hitting a sandpit in the woods where I can do whatever I feel like, so I'm a bit nervous about using a range instead.

Moving from ME to GA with a .22 suppressor
I have a Gemtech Outback II, and I'm about to move from Maine to Georgia. I've seen the 5320.20 form, but I've also read that it's not specifically required for suppressors. Can someone advise me on how best to go about things?
Thanks!
Thanks!
