Re: Okay, so I go over to Glock Talk with a simple question.
I seem to buy a police trade in Glock 19 almost every time I see one under $350. I've ordered a couple from AIM, and also picked some up locally when they are around. They come and go, and I seem to always get good trade value. The two I got from AIM were about average to slightly better. The nicer ...

Re: 9mm AR Barrel questions
I've found that Mag blocks are not something to go cheap on. I've tried C-products, RRA, and now have a Hahn. The C-products was absolutely crap, the RRA did good, but would eventually move around, causing problems. I ended up with a Hahn top loader, with a long finger bolt catch. This combination,...

Re: 9mm can for AR-9mm build and glock 19
I have a Trident for my 9mm AR and Glock 19. If I were buying one now, I would of course get an Octane (because you can take it apart). I will send mine out to get it jail broken, but it works great as is right now. Some porn: http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp38/tejota_2008/DSC03931.jpg http://i...

Re: Suppressor recommendation for 9mm AR and 9mm pistol.
I go Octane-9 for your price range, the standard O-9 is $550 and HD $650 or less. (real price) Only draw back is when mount will be ready. They are not rated for 223 but just because the Liberty "can" shoot ,223 doesn't mean this is a good thing to do. 223 is hard on blast chambers so why...

Re: Suggestions for a pistol caliber SBR
I have found that MP5s and UZIs a little quieter, especially for the shooter. I still have a lot of fun with this combo. (Snip) One of the quietest guns I've ever heard (not counting .22) was a suppressed UZI. It had a humongous can on it though. That can looks like it got really hot? Looks like Fu...

Thanks. I thought about lighting the coop but have decided to keep their cycle more natural. We can always supplement with store eggs when needed. . Blech... store bought? Have you tried a store bough egg since eating free range backyard eggs? I think you will find them lacking ( or straight the F-...

Re: For those that dont mind a little blood
My dad's been doing it for thirty years, and he makes his own tools too. His are not nearly as fancy, most consist of a piece of cut antler with copper wire pressed into the tip, or just the right diameter antler tip. I've seen a lot of this kind of thing, and I can say you do do nice work. Most of ...

Re: Shooting just primers with the can.
Hey that was pretty cool. Was that a .45? Also have you ever loaded up a small caliber round like a 9mm,(or a .40 or.45) with no powder just the primer and fire it? If so how far did or would the bullet go from a pistol? I have, it didn't make it 3" down my 9mm AR barrel. I had to pull the bol...

Re: Need some suggestions for my Glock 19 and Trident 9
I have a G19/Trident/Lone Wolf combo, and I am happy. The barrel needed a couple hundred rounds before it broke in, but now it is honestly 100%. I use standard height sights, and just look through the can.

Happy Trident owner here. I use it on my 9mm AR and Glock 19. I shoot quite often with a buddy who has an Evo, and it is nice too, but I wouldn't trade him.

Update: My new extended piston will arrive tomorrow, stay tuned for a review! I personally can't wait! Re: hk 3 lug to 1/2-28 adapter?
flash-hider. that's not to say a 3-lug mounting system won't work for silencers.... but it's not as solid as threads, that's for sure. I like it because it doesn't unscrew though. as long as your mount is VERY good and the barrel is good, 3-lug suppressors should be fine. I totally missed your firs...
