SBR and Lazy
I've been out of the NFA game for a few years. Can someone tell me what I need to do now to register a lower as SBR (personally, not trust)? I know I'm lazy and can probably dig around on here but thought someone may want to help make it easy for me.

Should be soon. The best thing you can do is forget about it for another 4 weeks. Some say not to even call, but I would every month or so just to make sure there's not a problem or more info needed.

Re: Very disturbing footage of Somali famine
I agree. My grandfather once said: "The best way to help the poor is to not be one of them."
Think about that. If we don't get our act together, we won't be able to help anyone.

Re: Where To By 10/22 Threaded Barrel
You can. I bump the barrel around a bit and then tighten again to make sure I work out any play. Once tight, there's not enough recoil or anything that would cause them to back out so I haven't used loc-tite on mine... but can't hurt.Jack_Bauer wrote:Would you possibly put a bit of locktite on it?

Re: Where To By 10/22 Threaded Barrel
I've always pulled it very tight... I had one that wouldn't group at all and later noticed it had come loose so the barrel had some play in it. Not much, but enough to make a difference. Pull it tight.

You guys mention "uncertainty" as a primary reason employers are holding back. I keep hearing this but everyone is leaving out a key factor, and an even more important one in my mind: the "certainty" of how lousy current policies are.

Had to throw this in about "my family" stickers. I saw a truck the other day with only some dude in it and he only had the "dad" sticker... single guy I guess... just thought it was funny.

I agree with what HillBillyJim said. The price of these things have gone through the roof over the past few years. I bet you could get $175-$200 for it now - even in its current condition as you described.
If it were mine, I would hold on to it and use something else as a host.

I can't type anything that would describe my feelings right now. What a s--t bag.
Others above have mentioned a slow painful death... which in most cases I would agree. However, I feel this person should be removed from this planet as quickly as possible.

Although I don't have one, I've heard nothing but good things about the Mueller APV. With that said, I do have a Mueller Eraticator on a varmint rifle that is GREAT, but it's a bit much for a 22 rimfire.

UPDATE TO OLD POST Looks like the lawsuit was dismissed. The Taco Bell ads refute that statement, saying the firm voluntarily withdrew the suit despite there being “no changes to our products or ingredients, no changes to our advertising, no money exchanged, no settlement agreement. ” http://www.fo...

This is what I was waiting for... an actual side-by-side comparison. I would like to see it done on some other hosts, but this is what I was waiting to hear. A little disappointing after all the hype on ST for the sdn6... kinda drives me back toward a cyclone or 300sd.AllenArms wrote:...SD is noticably quieter.
