A firecracker with a broken christmas tree bulb as a fuse will set it off. filament burns, firecracker goes bang, tannerite goes big bang. Trust me on that.

A cellphone vibrator circuit is used to set a lot of IED's off.

Same deal here. Pulled range safety NCO from time to time . We had to run out 9000 rounds between 3 guys after the company had gone back in for cleaning. Took hours loading and shooting in the snow . Don't remember it was Wildflecken or Baumholder but it was cold and wet. Got old real fast with the ...

I suppose it wouldn't necessarily have to be stainless and a 9 inch .30 caliber pistol blank at 1.125" OD goes for about $10

How long to cash a check?

I sent a Form 1 into BATF in WV 10 days or so. No cashed check yet. This is one of the newer form 1's that has you send them into the WV facility instead of Atlanta or wherever they went before, Is this a normal thing? I know its only been 10 days but a glimmer of hope would be nice.

I better call up my engineer friends who work at the Boeing plants and tell them to stop using inconel on the high temp contact areas in jet turbines. Not making this up dude. Titanium is widely known to be a poor high temperature material. Inconel is a alloy that is primarily nickel based with a la...

It might have a relatively high melting point but Titanium weakens considerably over 800 degrees. They do not use titanium in rocket boosters, turbine blades, turbochargers or anything else that gets really hot. Thats where they use inconel which is much more high temperature stable . Inconel is a h...

Silencer is on the ATF form. The inventor called it a silencer. Its a silencer. Call it a suppressor if it makes you feel superior but its still a silencer.

Titanium starts to have severe problems over 800 degrees. Its strong and light but its not very heat resistant.

If its permanently attached to the barrel ie welded on or machined as part of the barrel then its not a silencer to the ATF. If its removable then its a silencer. Theres a huge variety of airsoft silencers being sold in this country and overseas which are absolutely illegal and are ticking timebombs...

Machining the holes isnt a problem I have a rotary index that works fine for that. Its holding the baffles in the can so that the rabbit hole is in alignment with the slot cut in the top of the baffle I am not quite seeing. Perhaps I have a misunderstanding of whats going on inside the suppressor bu...

From the reading Ive done I'm pretty sure that theres no way to do that. A trust isnt designed to be a way to share NFA weapons. Its a way to transfer your property hassle free after you have died. It just happens that when they framed the NFA they included trusts for some reason. The trustee can be...

I think in the same vein you can't transfer anything you don't actually own such as house that is still in mortgage or a car that is stell held in loan by the bank. They own title to your house or car or whatever it is until the debt is paid. You also cannot transfer anything to a trust in a state w...

I don't see how the MSRP ('list price') justifies the set MSRP selling price. The only thing I pay retail on is groceries & gas. But, that's just me. Well, For example I just bought a 22 rifle suppressor on a form 4. The full list on it was $250. If I went with a dealer up north it would run me...

Its up to you to ensure that your beneficiaries are legally able to obtain the property you leave them and that there are no laws that prevent them from obtaining t...

My dealer charges nothing for a transfer if he makes the sale at full MSRP. He gets the forms for free and it cost him nothing to send them in and 10 minutes to fill out. He's still making money on the sale. Apparently enough to stay in business after 10 years. I can go a few hours away to the next ...
