Trooper, I logged in for the first time in months to applaud your assessment of a potential ancillary benefit of legalization of a substance in common use in CO and WA. I'll be interested to see how that works out.

If you are military, or married to a military member, or a child of a military member, you may be eligible for a USAA membership. They offer valuable personal property insurance that covers quite a bit, though it can cost $100/year for $20k coverage.

Unnerving, but too damned bad. Mr. President, the Supreme Court is there to oppose any activities that are not on Constitutional grounds. You are not supreme commander - you are not Hitler. The Supreme Court declared allegiance to Hitler, not Germany. http://www.aish.com/ho/o/48954116.html

Re: 14" mossberg pgo not nfa?
Rockets are registered because it uses a propellant charge and the explosives. Dummy rounds are not DDs, but the launcher/tube still is even though it's smooth bore. The "shotgun" in question, under the current NFA regulations, isn't a shotgun and seems to fall squarely under either DD or...

Re: 14" mossberg pgo not nfa?
The over .50" bore limitation is for RIFLED BORES not smoothbores. ATF has been clear about that for years in this regard that it relates to rifled bores ONLY. Do you have letters showing that DDs are only DDs if rifled? They have repeatedly changed opinions and I do try to collect letters. An...

Re: 14" mossberg pgo not nfa?
How would it be a DD? Are you linking the StreetSweeper to a pistol grip only shotgun? That like calling a Glock a MG because it has a hi cap magazine..... No, I was thinking more along the lines of it being over .50" bore. Seeing that the law says the following... Any projectile weapon with a...

Re: WHY, Ruger, why...
I hate the instruction manual engraved all over the pistol! That was the result of a lawsuit that Ruger "settled". As part of the settlment Rugar must give away free owners manuals for the asking. Bought a Mark3 a few weeks ago and its threaded into the receiver. No pressed barrels accord...

Re: Bill to require steel pennies, nickels makes cents, says
Even steel is too expensive to mint. Pennies will be too expensive to make, and they'll just get thrown out anyway.... Changing them from one metal to another won't matter much when zinc is under $2k per ton and steel is about $400 per ton. Besides, the metal, once you're already using cheap metal, ...

Are you sure? Is this just the new MIIIs or the 22/45s too? I ask simply because I notice that all of the new ones I've seen(including my own) have a visible degree of runout, ie the barrel is off center from the reciever(barrel points to the side to some degree, not completely parallel or concentr...

I'm not certain if you're serious, but here's an idea. 20mm = ~0.787". 950JDJ is .950". "The custom single-shot rifles for the .950 JDJ reportedly weighed over 100 pounds, I really doubt that you could make a manageable handgun out of it. (The muzzle brake alone weighed something like...
