The one problem is that they lead up the forward edge of the chamber because they are shorter in OAL than a .22LR. You will find that after just a few rounds, you can't chamber a LR without effort. That edge can be hard to clean.

That being said, more than one critter has fallen to them in my AO.

Given the debris that .22 ammo leaves, I would op for a user serviceable unit and forego worrying about a dip solution. My first post here after visiting the great folks at AAC. I have a SR 556K en route. Are there any specific instructions on installing the adaptor or tools needed that would require a gunsmith to install it?
