Re: No More Solvent Traps
I dont much bother with he pseudonyms. K baffles are still readily available from STC and theres still a crapload of 60 degree cone baffles available. The ATF's hard on seems to be reserved for those sellers hawking them with drilling fixtures at the same time and they dont seem to like drill marks ...

Re: “Solvent traps”
Cerberus is gone. A lot of sellers are going out of business. The ATF is going around scaring the hell out of sellers most of whom are just resellers or sell contract built parts from small machine shops and dont have the nerve to tell the ATF to stick it.

Re: Ruger Standard slide lock
Figured it out. The Standard safety is different than the Mark 1 on and it has an integral bolt lock . Disable the sear block by grinding the part of the safety that engages the sear and the bolt lock still works.

Ruger Standard slide lock
The original Ruger .22 Standard pistols had a safety that also locked the slide. I know the Vietnam era ones built by MAC for the government with an integral silencer used a slide lock. I assume they just modified the gun to disable the safety part of it so that when the safety is pushed up it locks...

Re: FN FAL original type 2 Receiver
Up until about a year ago you could buy genuine Colt M16 receivers over the counter in Germany for 25 Euros a piece. There was no market for them. No parts availability nor was there a legal way for Germans to assemble one without a mountain of paperwork and neutering mods. The receivers were worthl...

OK. Its illegal and worthless in the US. In your local market who knows. Certainly no one here. Depends on your local laws and market.

Is that sear cut? If so I'd say 10 years or $10,000.
Not that we will ever hear from you again but its generally considered poor form to ask what you can sell an unlicensed machinegun for on your first post. Wait until your 7th or 8th post before you start throwing federal felonies around.

338 Spectre build
Put together a new 338 Spectre. Took it out today for a spin with 225 and 300 grain ammo. Easy sub MOA gun. Built a silencer for it with Cerberus wavelocks double clipped in a TI ASR tube. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/691x332q90/r/923/pPysR6.jpg https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/691x254q90/r/...

Help for the TiRant
Picked up a Alpha/nano mount for the AAC Tirant from Ecco machine. Nice piece. I think most people would use them to be able to run a Slencerco Nano 3 lug since the AAC mounts are unobtanium and AAC is no longer with us. I picked it up to use with a Silencerco Alpha ASR mount. I bored out a ASR brak...

Re: Been awhile,,,
On the shld mfg sight im wondering if the radial or 60* trap would be better? You said 60 is the way to go and then linked the radial soooo? Marginal difference if any on pistols. Maybe favoring radials . The SHLD set looks well machined so theres that and the baffles are short and lots of them in ...

K baffles work better than cones on pistol type rounds. They do. Once you get into supersonic rifle stuff cones work better.,

Well it's not like you guys had any actual choice in 2016. It was Bozo the Friggin' Clown or Hillary Goddamn Clinton. How was that a choice? It's what the billionaire class decided for you, either way. Not saying we're any better off up here. Andrew the Snivelling Coward Scheer on the Conservative ...

Re: “Solvent traps”
Heres the ones I really like. The 60 degree Cerberus wavelocks. They lock together and its impossible for them to rotate once compressed, The clips will always align if you do your job of clipping them correctly . Ti and SS baffles. Heres the rub. Cerberus is going out of business and the stock they...

Re: “Solvent traps”
I have several form 1 silencers built from solvent traps. Some of the baffles are works of art and are as good or better than anything you'll find in a commercial can. I finish mine with a lathe so the holes are bored true and I clip with a mill. Its all about how much effort you put into it. The Ce...

Re: How Would Ghandi Deal With Screaming Protesters
India got independence from Britain after Britain nearly went benkrupt fighting two consecutive world wars and Indian fighters had spent two hundred years fighting British colonial rule. It was no longer economically feasible to continue colonizing India. Ghandi was a reverse scapegoat. "Look at the...

Yeah you always clip. Major difference in performance. File your form 1 and your parts will be in around the time the form comes back.

Cerberus is in Minnesota. I have a set of their baffles. Great baffles that index perfectly every time. . I'm on the shld list for the 6" radial kit. $300 after discount . Making a .45 can out of that one.
