Re: Ruger's intergral .22 in 10/22
https://www.ammoland.com/2017/04/ruger-introduces-an-integrally-suppressed-barrel-for-the-1022-takedown/#axzz4mffyX8v5 One thing I never liked about the 10/22 was how often it needed to be cleaned, about every 400 rounds for proper function. I wonder if this integral barrel will increase the cleanin...

Re: Price of suppressors IF Hearing Protection Act is passed
I think within a few years they would be made as quick and as cheap as an oil filter or law mower muffler, hopefully for the same price. They would be disposable and need to be for the general consumer. When the cans get damaged, we we throw them on top of the used paper targets in the trash can at ...

Re: plastic coated bullets and silencers?
yondering,
You are better at this than me. I'm going to send you $10 for 3 of your cast and PC reloaded 300BLK rounds. If they look good when recovered, I visiting you for a personal lesson on casting and powder coating.

Re: plastic coated bullets and silencers?
I use HTC and Powder coated bullets for my SMG and 300 BLK. I am seeing a little leading in 9mm and 380 but I do use serviceable suppressors. My personal experience with HTC and PC bullets for 300 BLK has been disappointing. My 300 BLK suppressor is not user serviceable. It has grown in weight by 2 ...

Never alter a can before talking to the manufacture. You may have just voided any warranty.

Re: Transgender people and people who need to switch genders
The child metaphor is great. I've watched my kids grow up. I've seen my friends' kids grow up. I believe the biggest part of who we are is there from birth, except for the influence a major crises helps in programing us. I also think that identifying with a gender is not a choice. Like you, I believ...

I'm glad it worked out for you.
I used a cast iron frying pan in the bottom of mine for the first few tries but the bullets never deformed on it.

Re: Polymer coated bullets and leading?
Has anyone else seen lead accumulations like this with polymer coated bullets? Yes, on the barrel muzzle and suppressor but not in the barrel, gas tube or bolt. You do not need ballistic gel to test bullets. Shoot into a pool or fill a used 55 gal food grade barrel with water ($10 from a landscape ...

I hate logos/white lettering/lawyer letters on stuff. I called them 3 years ago and asked if I could get one w/o a logo. SC said it would be a 1 1/2 years. I guess I can order one now.

Re: S&W M&P 15-22 SBR -- How short would you go?
My 15-22 is cut to 4.5". This weekend we put it to a fouling test. We shot 850 rounds with a Specrtre 2 and Remington Golden Bullets. Besides 11 light primer strikes and 2 duds, it never failed to chamber or failed to extract. I ran out of ammo but I think it could have shot more. The 15-22 has...

Stamps is crack.
Start reloading. It's not really cheaper but you'll shoot more and won't wait as long for stuff.

I use it on a 8.2" AR SBR. It's as good or better than my Octane 9 with subs and much safer with HV. :) I had the prototype core and the production core. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8489/8221858126_e4800bbb51_z.jpg https://www.flickr.com/photos/40775099@N03/8314997422/ https://www.youtube.co...

BTW, If you own a firearm that uses this ammo and you're not reloading... you're nuts....or affluent...maybe both.
