Not an ideal bullet weight, velocity too high, price too high. They need to use a better 147gr bullet (not 124gr), cleaner powder, less velocity and lower the price. 38 cents per round for 9mm subsonic FMJ is ludicrous.paper9 wrote:viewtopic.php?f=9&t=127536

Some of the bigger names are finally figuring it out, but some just don't get it still (Federal/AE). Nice to have options.

Re: Subsonic 9mm/45acp powder...
Subsonic 9mm and 45 isn't hard to make. For the .45, the 230gr is already subsonic. The 9mm benefits from a 147gr bullet, but 124/125gr and 135gr bullets can be used as well. Fast powders are better for subsonic, like W231/HP38, Zip, Titegroup, #2, WST, N310, N320, Green Dot, Red Dot, Clays, Interna...

Re: Wish I could find a local dealer that will deal
So many people are concerned with only price they forget about value or customer service. You can get value and customer service without the high prices. Too many people use that excuse to justify what they are charging! Being the cheapest option works up until a certain point. If all you have to c...

That douche has 48 posts and all are spam. Why isn't he banned? Other forums automatically ban anyone that has a link in their first 10 posts. Why muck up the forum with this crap even though the posts have been reported already? Sick of seeing this forum getting raped with spammers.

No FET due on suppressors. They are not considered firearms for FET purposes.

So she didn't elect to pay more than what she was required to pay? Big deal. I don't either. Why would someone elect to pay more in taxes? Seems like she paid the minimim required tax. Just like the rest of us do. Am I missing something with this story? It points out the hypocrisy of the left's &qu...

That's another area we are working on is SBR/SBS. It will be a lot tougher than the MG or suppressor stuff, since the SBW are in a totally different statute. Even as an SOT I can't make either. I'd love to be able to make SBRs as part of my business, but no go.

I'm curious to know more details. The order receipt stated no alcohol. I've been to an OG before many times. The servers don't mix drinks, they deliver them. Bartenders make the drinks. I'm wondering if the waitress recorded the correct drink order for the child, which was forwarded to the bartender...

Re: QuickLoad - is it worth the $152.95?
For those of you that have purchased QuickLoad: 1.) Why did you buy it? I bought it to help with chrono mapping. 2.) What (specifically) do you do use it for? Chrono mapping and load mapping. 3.) Does it do what you need? Yes, for the most part. It's a complicated learning curve and I just use the ...

I'll let you know how it goes here in Michigan. We spent a lot of time and money getting suppressors to be legal for individuals. Now we're going after hunting legality (currently illegal, probably just following old state law). My home state of Wisconsin never banned suppressors and never banned th...

Game poaching with suppressors doesn't hold solid ground. In states that have suppressor ownership, they haven't see...
