Re: Help with a Coharie
Never got around to posting that video, but my gun works fine now. I will be replacing the mag release totally. The mag locks in place, and the gun cycles fine, but the mag release is releasing the mag during shooting. It might be wearing out. Will post after I am done.

Re: effective/effiency of supressor on AR15 ?
I would not state that, because that is not true. Hearing damage is a continuous, ongoing process. You may not NOTICE a substantial difference in your hearing until you have accumulated a lot of exposures, but EACH and EVERY unsafe exposure will break a few of the stereocilia in your inner ear and ...

The have a cult like following. They were clever in offering some turn-key packages when other companies were still doing ambiguous priced hourly services. I would say that they are the Nighthawk Custom of the precision rifle world. Nothing unprecedented, but make good rifles and they make it easie...

Re: effective/effiency of supressor on AR15 ?
As I have stated before, and as Jason hinted above, it is NOT medically hearing-safe to shoot supersonic rifle ammo through a suppressor without hearing protection. Even the best rifle cans only bring the noise down to 135-140 dB, which may meet some random OSHA regulation but will damage your hear...

Is this what I am looking for a 1-7 twist, for standard 55gr ammo? OK.
BISHOP
I think 1/7 is the best since you can accurately shoot 55gr. with no problem, but if you move up to 62gr. or 69gr. or even 75gr. like I use, then you will need 1/7..

Re: Update: Pentagon can't explain 'missile' off California
I tend to assume people know my thought pattern at times. I'm short/brief in general; assumed everyone knew F15/18 or whatever they were. The thing is when you say McDonnell Douglas and STL, I assume MD-80's and MD-11's. I am not familiar with Military using STL, but then again I don't live there s...

Re: Update: Pentagon can't explain 'missile' off California
What I saw was a fighter; F15? Presumed they were with McDonnell since that is the only military are I know of at STL. Last time I saw one was 5-7yrs ago I think. I try not to fly STL much. Thats my mistake. I thought we were talking about Passenger jets. In that case, yes, I do agree that Military...

hell of a contrail....never seen one from military craft though, but have seen McDonell Douglas planes takeoff at STL many a times and climb 40-45degrees or so Thats impossible as an MD will stall and crash with an AOA of over 25 degrees on takeoff. It might even be less then that.. Let's not confu...

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3bf_1276818332 I've seen many video's of police trying to subdue people and I have yet to see any cop use the "Claw", it was a device used years back by police, it clamped loosely around the wrist and hand and when he twisted the handle a little a lot of pre...

Out of those three I would go with the Ibanez IJX30. It sounds good and Ibanez guitars have very thin necks making them easier to play. The guitar player in my brother's band had an IJX30, it sounded nice playing rock and metal. My .02 I had an Ibanez. It got out of tune real quick and easy. Out of...

Yeah, I went there, but they are out of stock, so I had to go through HK Specialist.. Cost me a nice $484.00..
One last thing on the list is a new lower.

Having worse ejection issues now. I can cycle the bolt, the bullet will eject out of the chamber, but not the gun itself. I'm pretty sure I have the dreaded CA 10mm head instead of a 9mm head.. I'm gonna just buy a new bolt head.. Have you measured the bolt face? The SD had it's own special locking...

Re: Removing SBR from NFA registry correctly?
From what I recall, even if a firearm is on a Form 1 or Form 4 as SBR, an SBR is only an SBR if it satisfies one or both of the two qualifiers: barrel less than 16 inches or overall length less than 26 inches. I believe when I learned that, it had come to light that you could temporarily attach a 1...
