They could be lying, but the numbers don't seem to. It looks stupid quiet on a rifle in optimized layout.
Head to about 6:30 to see the db numbers and the configurations:

Re: Integrally suppressed vs sbr Ruger 10/22
I have two gemtech mists, one on a takedown backpacker and one on a 96/22 lever action. Both are wonderful. The backpacker is perfect with the mist, a Kidd trigger kit, RMR sight and some other doodads like bolt buffer etc. Neither are ported, as I have tons of CCI standard that is subsonic at my te...

Re: Gemtech Mist - To Port or Not To Port?
Not sure on protocol on posting ar15.com links, but Dr Dater is on there and offered to port my two gemtech mist barrels for me a couple of weeks ago. Even offered to cut the slot for a 96/22 extractor. Might try the silencer forum over there.

Re: Q Honey Badger 2.0 ammo question
I'm still waiting for mine to be made, but I figure I'll just find something at <$.50 a round, buy a couple of cases, and tune it to that, then come up with a similar reload recipe when I get it. S&B is around that price now, but still holding out. I'm more interested in the pmag "don't wor...

Re: Suppressor Cover Suggestions
I just got a cole tactical in, very impressed with the craftsmanship. Should work well, the TAB gear one I had didn't have enough coverage on the high temp stuff and melted the cordura after one use. Lots of overlap on the Cole, https://www.cole-tac.com/collections/shop/products/metal-python-suppres...

Re: Specter 2 upgrade worth it?
I've got the original and the 2, and I like both, I haven't felt the need to upgrade the old one, and I do like the original styling better. It's been a toss up for me, and I consider it every year since the upgrade path was available, but the Spectre I has never let me down and isn't that much more...

Re: Ar15 mid length with AAC sr7 silencer issues ? New to silencers
How does it run without the silencer using that same ammo? I'd try some full power 5.56 stuff and start knocking down variables. I've got a microMOA that on low setting (cutting the gas down) does the same with weak ammo like wolf or silver bear and a surefire mini (undergassed) that I need to bump ...

Can we take bets or have a raffle on what it actually meters?

I've got one as well, only downside is no QD latch, but upside is that it works on both 18tooth and 51tooth mounts. Well worth the money.

CMMG is still my favorite, stainless is the way to go, get the boonie packer bettermag adapter and M&P-15 mags. Day late and a dollar short, but I've also considered a 300blk conversion, [email protected] was making them, has a youtube video out.

Re: owners/shooters of TM Poseidon & TiRant 9S?
Honestly if you already have an Octane I'd go with the Poseidon. I have the Poseidon, a trident and an inbound octane. To me, the Tirant 9S is just a 3" shorter fullsize can (I realize that is contradictory, but I hope you get my point), but I haven't shot one. The Poseidon is a whole different...

Re: Could an Octane 45 be sent in for 9mm baffles?
The endcap on the saker isn't really an endcap in the sense that it holds the baffles in, the endcap on the saker is just an accessory. I'm betting ATF would have a negative opinion of putting the 5.56 on the 7.62 though. But I also thought that sig brace thing would be shot down after what some yah...

It looks vaguely like an earlier version of the Chinese Hawk. It also shares a passing resemblance to a potato. Better pics would help.

Re: How to sell a suppressor?
If it is on form 4, look to local gunboards etc. the extra tax stamp to get it out of state onto a F3 to transfer it probably won't be worth it to anyone. Brand new $472 from silencershop, minus the $200 to xfer out of state = $272 at a full new retail price left over for negotiation, for a used can...

Re: Can't get my Element open....
I used to use a thick piece of neoprene under the strap wrench on my old Mite to increase the grip. Take down tool clamped in the vice, wrap 1/4 neoprene rubber for grip around the tube, strap wrench from home depot around that. Worked so well I sheared the core off inside, but the cap came loose!

Kroil, freeze it, let it warm, freeze, more kroil, freeze, then warm it up and strapwrench time. Always worked on my YHM Mite, until the core seized so bad it sheared off in the tube!

As long as it mounts to current production 18t mounts work for you and they should, this ought to do it for you, check around for better prices though.

I honestly don't see the site as that bad in the NFA world, I've seen far far worse. Fairly decent pics. It'll all come down to db numbers and price, rail doesn't do much for me, but looks like you've got decent volume with a fairly low height so it might not obscure the stock sights on my sig for i...

I also use w231 for subsonic plated and lead, 3.6-3.8 grains, 3.6 is around 850 fps as I recall, but cycles my sig p229 and m11/9 (albeit really slowly with lage upper). 3.8 is where I load to. Super quiet as well.

I vaguely recall using the pin on an ar tool when this happened to me, or an ar stock wrench. Been a while since I had my three lug come apart. The end of my armorers tool I'm pretty sure worked fine on it. Will double check, about time to lube the three lug anyway. http://www.northwestshootersupply...

No back doors, no uploading mass forms, just a script that does the right actions at the right times with informati...
