quietest suppressors for pistols

Greetings, everybody. I haven't been active in the forum in years. The last time I was stationed in a NFA state was in 2005. Next month, I will finally be moving out of a non-NFA state to a NFA state. I can't wait to make a(n educated) purchase. My first purchase MIGHT be a QD suppressor, so I can s...

My G21SF/45Osprey has replaced my AR45/QMF/HEMSII. The 21 combo is more compact, quieter and carries more rounds. from this, http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5288/5257407291_de820fb7e3_z.jpg to this. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5172/5582546073_05c103ce89_z.jpg Nice pix :) Thanks for sharing. Based on my experience the old left hand threads tighten the can when you shoot due to the rifling being right hand and the gases causing imparting turning force on the can are crap. Left and right hand will both come undone. The metric mounts offered by AAC are less likely to come undone due to th...

The AR-15 is pretty universal, rifle, pistol, all sorts of calibers, from .22lr to .50BMG (single shot) if I remember correctly. The MGI receiver takes that one step further +1 I have an MGI. The magazine well, bolt group, and barrel assembly (Quick Change Barrel), are interchangeable. In addition ...

I don't remember if they're expensive, since I haven't bought one in a while, but a Pelican Case should suit your purposes well. Camera and gun shops should have them.

A have a Hardigg Stormcase for a rifle, but they could make smaller ones for pistols.

Not that I know of. That is the thread to use if you want the barrel to fit through a 1911 barrel bushing and have threads though. I like the thread pitch. The Metric HK's are cool too though. Probably a better design, but absolutely dependent on the O-ring on account of the very small amount of en...

Mike,

Thanks. Are there pros & cons to each pattern? Or is it merely a matter of preference? Does one thread pattern stay screwed on longer than others?

This is a contradiction. I don't want a full auto rated pistol silencer. I don't like combo SMG/Pistol silencers. I prefer a dedicated pistol and a dedicated SMG silencer. Good for you. I didn't reply to your message, I replied to Kevin's message. I typed "OPTIONAL" at the beginning of my...
