What dedicated .22LR upper for AR SBR w/ a can?
What are you guys running for a dedicated .22LR upper for AR SBR w/ a can?
I had a (now discontinued) 16" CZ .22 upper but sold it and looking for recommendations? Are there any that come from the factory with a short barrel?
Thx.

Re: Most reliable .22 pistol that I can suppress
I shoot the piss out of my Buckmark - suppressed and unsuppressed. I have never done a detailed clean on it - just open the action and wipe. It has been 100% reliable with a wide variety of ammo.
It is slightly louder than the Ruger though based on my unscientific experience . . .

Get a peel washer and you can custom fit it.Wahnsinn wrote:Yup, mine was pretty long even at .475, had to use an AR15 spacer I had laying around. Now if I could just find a thinner one.

I try not to be rude, but many people will come up to you at the range and talk your ear off.
That's why I like to shoot on the 3 gun pits unless I'm shooting long range.

Re: Video of my Buckmark w/ TAC 52
The Buckmark has a lot of action noise and is not the quietest host available. However, it is a robust and excellent host in general. My Buckmark is pretty loud with my SWR Warlock (which is excellent on my 10/22) and sounds great with my Liberty Shoofly - but still with a lot of action noise.

We need more info to effectively answer your question.
Are you shooting full auto?
Are you shooting on a rifle, pistol or both?
Are you shooting anything other than .22lr?

I have one w/ a 24" ss bull barrel and two stage trigger. It's a great rifle, sub-moa, but heavy as s--t. I want to either rebarrel it or have the barrel cut to 20" and turned down. Can't decide . . .
Are the 18" barrels a carbine, mid or rifle gas system?

The Browning Buckmark is also a great host. It does have some more action noise that a P22, but it is a much more robust platform.

Awesome thread and can. Thanks for posting. I have the [now discontinued] Liberty Shoofly and love it. This may be my next can. It's funny - some can manufacturers have R&D departments - and Dave makes top shelf, innovative cans out of his own shop. You gota love the American small business man!

Re: My new Savage Mrrk II FV-SR going back to factory
I tested with a spacer that I had. You saved me a few weeks of headache. It looked like it was seated all the way to the shoulder, but I guess it was not. I guess the FVSR requires the use of a spacer. btw, I have the Savage version of it - 28702. Glad you figured it out. What spacer are you using ...
