Re: .357 in a 9mm Can

Personally I don't see why it wouldn't handle it. I wouldn't worry about the volume of gas, the MK9K is a pretty huge can. And we're not dealing with all that much more propellant. Yes you have about double the amount of propellant (though often not quite that much more), but you also have double th...

Re: Pistol caliber carbine questions...

I'll let you know about the Scorpion Evo 3 once TROS clears through his backlog and gets to my 18mm to UZI adapter and I can try it out with my Avenger. I know my Mini UZI SBR was very pleasant to shoot with the Avenger, I imagine the Scorpion will be as well as the bolts are of similar weight. I to...

Dear diary,

Today I learned that the magic of CNC machining removes almost all POI shift from silencers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the locating pin should be preventing all of this if they actually install it correctly.

That means you know how to measure things and cut things. It doesn't mean you know much of anything about how suppressor designs work.

From your post, I would presume he's the guy who designed everything except the MG-SD.

In that case, find somebody else to mercilessly flog him until he comes up with something amazing, or self flagellate I don't care. As long as the silencer arms race gets another boost I'll be happy.

whats the beef with AAC ? i love my tirant . one of the best and quietest cans made. I don't really have a beef with them (the employees on this site are really sensitive so it is fun to poke at them from time to time), but they've definitely dropped from being the innovative force for the industry...

9 Largo should work with just about any regular old 9mm bullet. Here is one dude who did some load development up to a 125gr bullet. I don't see why you couldn't just load it to 9mm Para minimum load specs with a 147 or even 158gr bullet and work your way up. http://www.9mmlargo.com/cartridge/loads....

Re: How many really want a NEW 9mm bolt action carbine?

Would 38 super be easier to source? Isn't that a rimmed round? If so it won't want to feed well. It is semi rimmed and they feed pretty well, it is very commonly used in USPSA matches. .38 super comp would be a better choice since it is a truly rimless case. However it is not as widely available.
