Re: SF 762MINI

I've had questions, so I'll try to tell what I know. It will fit 556 & 762K adaptors. It may fit 6.8, I'm sure it probably does. I have heard AK adaptors may be coming too, which will be freakin awesome. I know the AK is over gassed & loud to suppress, but still the option to do so is nice. ...

Re: AAC SCAR-HD with holes???

10-4, that's wild. I purchased extra gas ports from browning just for the purpose of trying to get my guns to run as close to optimal when my designated can comes in. I just can't imagine why this was not done, but I do know that I am an outsider. As to how/why things like this are done is way beyon...

Re: AAC SCAR-HD with holes???

Here's the issue I see. I own a SCAR 16 & 17. Both have been SBR'd to 10" & 13" respectively. I did an extensive write up and eval of the 16. This series of rifles is the easiest rifle on the planet to custom tune the gas system. There is no "re-tool" involved. The gas po...

Re: Going to make a Mini can in 6.8 or 308?

Garin,

I've hounding Greg for some time about the 762 MINI. Just had my dealer place an order for one today. I am thrilled about this can as I'm sure others are too. I appreciate you guy making this happen. This can will be right at home on my SCAR H CQC.

HK45/P30 CTC Laser Grips

Guys, I would really like to see CTC make a laser unit for the HK45 and/or HK P30 series of pistols. I emailed CTC and they said that new products are produced on the amount of user request they get on a specific product, so I am asking for your help. Follow the link and ask for CTC to make a laser ...

WTS:Swarovski Binos & Leica 1200 scan LRF

I have a pair of Swarovski 10x50 SLCs OD green that have been sitting in the safe for a few years un-used. They are in excellent condition and the clarity of these binos are beyond belief. I bought them new a few years ago. They come with a padded pelican case and bungee straps too. I have the origi...

Guys, I believe this has more to do with Remington wanting to make sure they can supply cans for the MSR; not the ACR. That is just my gut feeling.

I will also sell the Triple Tap Brake separate for $385 shipped. Brake Sold** The brake is sold, the upper is still for sale. I hate to do this, but I am getting married in a few months and I have no choice. I have a Colt 6921 upper with Colt M16 BCG that was rebarreled with a Noveske N4 light hamme...

Personally its the adults, not the kids that I saw problems with last year. One group on the line, a dealer that had a kid with them shooting frightened the s--t out of me last year. I personally saw an adult with the group load a .22 rifle, then sweep the kids head with the muzzle as he made way to...

I'd love to know which specific colors you used, as I have been trying to find some good FDE-ish colors in my local areas, and they ALL SUCK. Some look pinkish, others look whitish. Most suck ass. I used the Ultra Flat Brown and Tan Krylon that is sold in Walmart. As far as I know, they only have 4...

I have a permit and do not carry because I am a terrible shot with a pistol. My friends carry and are 10 times worse than me, they will regularly miss a man sized target at 10-15 feet. It's like driving every day even though you can only keep your car in your lane 80% of the time. If I could carry ...

I have a friend who has a SPR with FDE furnature and is going to try his best to finish his dimpled barrel by leaving the outer parts bead blasted stainless and finishing the individual dimples FDE. I am curious to see how it turns out.

As far as park jobs, Larry Vickers recommended Texas Armament Corp. for park work to me once. I used them recently for park'ing 2 gas blocks I cut down and they were extremely fast with turn around and had very good pricing.

Don't know if you have anyone who does that for you, just suggesting.

You are right and I am not usually hung up on looks as I am more of a function over form guy, but I am just hung up on that PDW look. I think the dimpling would be awesome on the parkerized hammer forged barrel.

Besides cost, would there be any negative issues from doing this?

In that it should not be dimpled? Would you mind me asking why it should not be dimpled?

Thanks
