I would not shoot a slug threw anything other than cyl choke. anything more you're risking damage to the choke tube and threads...... That's just me though.

You got it ! It was easier just re-threading. And on the plus side Tornado got the index perfect without having any shims instaled.

I have one and it is one of the best rifles I own. Tornado Tech re-threaded it attached and indexed a AAC muzzle brake for my 762SD. Combined with my Leupold Mark 4 LR/T and a harris bipod I would have to say it is one of my favorite. It will hold great groups with a wide range of factory ammo.

Just wanted to give a big thanks for the professional job that Tornado Tech did on my Tikka T3 Tactical. Threaded barrel installed and index the AAC 18 tooth brake. Looks and shoots great ! Awesome turn around too! I WILL be a repete customer. Pic's comming soon.

I have the same gun. Did you have yours cut down? Mine is 24" and I thought they only made 20 and 24 inch models. I've been messing around with quickload and some other things trying to come up with an answer for the same question. I'll post back here when/if I come up with anything. Thanks ! ...
