Re: Ordered a COASTAL LRT SILENCER (308/7.62)
I made the mistake. It is quietish but heavy as hell. Customer service for that company suck balls. Never will I buy another silencer with out doing thorough research. I have no respect for it and shoot it on crap (corrosive ammo and what not) http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv145/singtar/NFA/Coa...

I have only seen one show and I felt disappointed. I would rather watch Mid-way vdo's on U-tube.

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
I haven't been following this for a while but 'Oh My'. I hope ACC is taking care of you.
I thought you had made it once you loosened the cap that little bit.
Well at least on a positive note. When the replace the cap, they will restack the baffaloes in the updated configuration.

Re: Take apart can poll
If you have a take apart can and not take it apart is like buying a new car and not opening the hood to look at the engine.

]I think they are the same. I believe the stuff from harbor freight will have an anti-caking feature so it flows. Try both and see which works better.

Re: Broken silencer, too much pressure!?
What is the serialized part on a SD suppressor. Is it the Carbon fiber tube or an aluminum mount (IE Osprey) or something? If it is the mount, the re-core is feasible.
On the other hand, He could have the carbon fiber tube re-cored for a giant rimfire can

Re: .45 ACP Suppressor Project Nearing Completion
Nice work. Does it work? I am trying to figure out the captured piston but i don't see how the first chamber will expand or contract to piston to get the gun to cycle. I sure you can explain. There is a lot of precise machining going on there with the cage and the piston cap. Once again, nice work.

Re: Broken silencer, too much pressure!?
If the manufacturer doesn't want to warranty it, then have it rebuilt by someone else. It sounds like a take apart can. See if you can get some one to re-core for you.
If i remember, wast his suppressors very expensive?

Re: TiRant tool looks a little like the TAC65
Several of you guys have mentioned that they would like to have the new front end cap that has an o-ring for your jailbroke, formerly sealed Ti-Rants. The tubes for the original sealed models have a counterbore in the front that is deep enough to accomodate the rim of the original, sealed front end...

Re: Armoured Jeeps
So what does this have to do with silencers? About as much as your post, I'm sure you could ask a mod to move it if you feel like being a D-bag. Lava carry on and great work. I wish I could get my hands on one! Toole You see that my post has the word "silencer" in it. So I guess it has 10...

Re: UMP Barrel threading
I saw this after the guy at HDSC stold me the barrels didnt have enough metal to be threaded. Did you thread it yourself in a lathe or did you send this to someone? I had a machine shop cut the threads. That is beside the point though. The Barrel at the where it is step up just before the flange wa...

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
Was that the orientation of your baffle stack when you removed it? The baffle stack in my 2011 Ti-rant was a different orientation than that. Comments from AAC for correct orientation appreciated. In the T45- best performance will be with the ports in the baffles should be one direction (lined up) ...

Re: 10/22 bolt/semi auto conversion. Would you buy?
If anyone sees a 96/22 in .22lr for sale send me a pm please. Im looking for one and would be willing to spend up to 500-600 on one. Really, I just bought one from a pawn shop for $200. I was kind of disappointed with it though. i can't use my threaded 10/22 barrel for it and I am having ejection i...

Re: tac-65 rebuild
I have tried the tumbler and it doesn't work. It polishes the lead that is on the baffle. Now- here's an idea. How about taking clean baffles and polishing the surface till it had a mirror finish. A) Would it be louder or quieter because we are changing how the air flows through - Kind of like porti...

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
Liberty suppressors is performing the jailbreak on the can for $280 + $20 shipping. Jailbreak includes a new end cap with removal tool. I would rather do this than risk destroying the can. Oh well. I guess that’s what I get for buying the newest thing right when it comes out. Not only did I pay the...

Re: tac-65 rebuild
I don't know what the deal is. The TAC-65 comes apart very easily. I don't use any anti-seize or anything else. Buy a bead blast cabinet. $100 from Harbor freight, Tractor supply, northern tools or from wherever and if you don't have an air compressor. Buy one. It is between $100 and up. You can alw...

ok so i was going to have my tac-65 rebuilt by elite iron but they said they cannot do it right not are there any other places that do rebuilds on the tec-65? i really like the elite iron setup and would love something like it since my main reason for the rebuild is ease of cleaning It already come...

Re: FRP equal in all cans?
For christs sake- am I the only one who shoots more than one round? FRP goes away, and if I feel so inclined, i can always spit in the blast chamber and it is gone. I'm not a fucking assassin. I don't need to worry about it For range use it doesn't matter. BUT, when I go out on the prowl around my ...

Re: Jailbreaking the Tirant
If you look at the stack, the blast baffle is the blast baffle, of course, but the black baffles can be rotated like tires on your car to even out wear on them. same with the gray ones, but the stack is designed to have the black ones first, then the gray ones. Is there a difference between the bla...
