Re: Is there a thread locker that would be good for silencer
You can use teflon tape on the threads, just be careful not to get it so hot it burns. I presume that your cyclone is on a bolt action or something that you dont do magdumps through, so it's an option.

Re: Does anyone make a reflex-style thread mounted can for .
I don't think anyone makes one that doesn't require a special muzzle device.
Best deal for plain threaded is probably a Ranger 2 or a YHM Stainless Phantom. Call up Major-Malfunction and tell him what you're looking for, he'll probably sort it out much better than I have.

Re: Bore Diameters - Stepped or No
Also, would it be possible to make a can out of carbon fiber for the main body and aluminum for the end caps and main body? Just a newbie thought. You could BUT A company called CCI made a licensed copy of a Brugger & Thomet suppressor, and it was as you said; carbon fiber tube with metal endca...

Re: Silencer for Dragon Slayer .50
You cannot import one at all. You can build one if you fill out an ATF Form 1. As for the actual building, I have no idea what sort of baffles work well with air guns, but there's a poster from the UK here who has video reviews of several models as well as baffle pics, so you can try to mimic them.

Re: cycling problem
I just got my gemtech tundra yesterday and i am shooting it on a glock 26 with a lone wolf barrel and fiocchi 158gr ammo. The problem im having is that it isnt cycling ( ejecting the bullet and loading the next). I love the amount of sound suppression the tundra gives but the hand cycling it goin t...

Yes, but that zooms in everything, including images which can lead to annoying pixelation. You can change just the way the text is done in the browser however.Illuminated_one wrote:You guys that are having trouble with small text can hold control and scroll up with the mouse wheel.
This should 'zoom in'.

Re: The new forum looks like some newb made it...
There's like 3 inches of space on either side of the posts for me. The text is also ridiculously small. Can we choose our own themes somewhere? ETA: In the User Control Panel you can switch, but there's only a few options and none of them are excellent. However, I do like the newer board controls an...

Re: Gemtech G5 5.56?
G5 is just as good as any other SWR/AAC/ etc brand and nobody is going to notice the difference. I think your dealer is just partial to other brands is all. Theres nothing 2nd tier about anything gemtech makes. I would seek other sources for more opinions on gemtech products. Don't rely on just one...

Re: Gemtech G5 5.56?
I have a chance to get a new G5 5.56 with multi mount from my dealer at a real good price and also save on the Form 4 fee through the Gemtax offer. Don't know anything about it and am looking for some comments from those who have experience with one. Dealer says it is a high second tier lower first...

I hate the KRISS. I will go into a rant and start shitting zombie bunnies if I tell the story of our 2 Post guns we got a year or so ago. My biz partner and I got them with high hopes. Today they sit on a shelf, not even in the safe. That is how much we care about these jamming crap boxes. To gun g...

There are too many good suggestions to name, based on what you're looking for exactly. If you want a small can, go for the AAC Element. For a durable can that can handle some other calibers, go Spectre. If you want a somewhat larger can with extra volume that will look better with the profile of the...

Liberty might do it, I hear they do so for other cans, so you may well be able to salvage this one.
