I think it would be easy for ATF to show intent. That intent + the ability + all parts on hand to make multiple silencers = conviction. You obviously know what the law is, stupid as it is, I don't think ATF would consider this a loop hole, I think they would consider it a violation.

You have to be careful with boosters. If they give too much boost you will end up breaking something. It is a balance between weight, length and cartridge. Not something I would want to tackle and a F1 builder.

Hey Pd - Yep there are a lot of companies that offer essentially the exact same lathe as the one I ordered. The reason I went with that one is because of all the extras that came with it like a light, coolant system, foot barke (which I never use) and the thread/auto feed gear box is in an oil bath....

I permanently attached the tube to the barrel so I did not have to register it as an SBR. I can not get in there to take a look. The ID of the tube is 1.5 so hopefully with the hardware cloth and the distance I will be OK. With the price of 45 I will not be shooting it as much as I would like anyhow.
