Re: Complicated Class 3 question? I think!
The important thing to remember is there is no "one right answer". If BATFE were to investigate whether or not your relationship with the company was a valid "employee/representative" relationship they would look into the matter and weigh & measure the variables. RP alone doe...

Re: Recore/Repair legality question
There is nothing that says you can't but we won't touch them because we don't know that you don't have the core at home and it could be considered as selling silencer parts and NOT simply doing a repair....not to mention other potential legal issues. I think this is so hard to police it is almost a...

What about if the original design features no baffles or wipes, just a registered tube and end caps? Could the 02 add a monocore?

Recore/Repair legality question
Hi all, So usually any thread with "is this legal" pretty much guarantees a "no" as the answer, but here goes: BTW Bendersquint , if you are reading this I sent you the same question via email with some additional, specific questions. If I have a suppressor that I built on an app...

Re: Full auto trigger packs on MP5 clone
Certainly not legal to do so but that has been answered. To more fully answer your specific question I thought I would throw this in here: HK "MP" style guns approved for sale as semi-auto guns have a shelf welded into the receiver to prevent a full auto trigger assembly from being inserte...

Laws that prohibit CCW hosts from carrying firearms into establishments that post a sign are all state laws. One is wise to check if your state considers suppressors as firearms...many do not.

Another good reason to not show anyone your tax forms. And as a result go to jail until you finally give up and show them the piece of paper saying its legal. ATF is not going to run to your aid to prove your innocence. I know you know some people who have horror stories but my experience has been ...

That is odd, mine is silly quiet on my MKIII 22/45. Obviously it gets louder after a few mags but intially it is great on .22 for me.Will_M wrote: I could use it for a nice light .22lr can but it is horrible on .22. As in "might as well not have it on there" loud.

You already know your answer. (1) pay a tax, and wait for a stamp, for each replacement filter; or (2) send the device back to the manufacturer to have the filter replaced. Just to add to Bender's post, if my memory serves the manufacturer states on their website that they offer the filter replacem...

Re: Noise generated by firing .32(ACP) bullets.
Hello,
There are many things that can cause a gun firing the same type of ammunition to have different sounds.
Barrel length, type of action, any several other factors can change the sound.
Yes in my opinin .32 ACP cartridge is louder than a .22.
Good luck, and where are you from?

Re: owners/shooters of TM Poseidon & TiRant 9S?
I have a TM can very similar to the Poseidon. I would spend 3x times the money if I could go back and get the Ti-Rant 9S instead. I think I have the same can (DBS) that I got a smoking deal on. This combo with the wipe is wonderful for about 3 rounds, after that...not so much. Now I love it, if you...

Joining two suppresors
Stupid legal question with no intent of actually doing it. If I have 2 suppressors and I machine a coupler to create (in effect) one long suppressor: 1) Do I need another stamp? 2) Is the coupler I make a "silencer part"? (I guess if this is the case Question #1 is automatically a "ye...

Well, this little monster I've been working on doesn't seem to weigh much over 15 lbs loaded: http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q220/LavaRed/DSC00028_zps021519e0.jpg But it's still missing its folding stock, which I have designed myself. Dude that rifle is huge, you must need a Chinook to move it....
