Sorry I've been away. I loved learning here from guys like Robert Silvers and Andy Holzgref. I kinda got sidetracked into other higher volume forums and also hadnt had the budget to buy more cans in a while.

Barrels are good to go in, cam pins and firing pins, etc. One thing to know is which cleaning soap/solution to use.

Seal 1 has always worked for me. It keeps stuff from sticking somewhat and is pleasant to use.

Roberts was either bought or blackmailed into the Obamacare rulings, so he is probably still in the pocket of the left.

I haven't noticed this much with the King Shooter Supply purple coated bullets I use. It must be a harder coating.

Salvo 20 or 28?

My wife has our first kid on the way. I already have a Warlock 2 purchased for their 22's. A friend of mine posted dove hunting pics w/ his little son today and that got me to thinking. Obviously a Salvo 12 would be really good on my gun when taking them wingshooting, but what about them? A little b...

I care about the weight--if I could get a SpecWar K in 6.8 it would weigh half as much as my 762 and cost less than a Saker.

SpecWar 556 or 556K open up to 6.8?

I absolutely love my SpecWar 762 and have a 556K on the way, might even spring for another since there's still time. I have all my rifles fitted with SpecWar mounts at the moment. Something popped into my head that I figured I'd run by you guys. The one thing I don't like about my 762 sometimes is t...

Re: Do you carry at work?

Official work policy, and they're VERY METICULOUS about words in contracts and documents is "Do not frighten or make others feel unsafe" --under section of weapons and workplace violence. If they wanted to say something else they would. It's a small company and it will stay that way. So th...

I'm sure bomb disposal units might have something to say about that in a domestic PD. Agreed, my wife's 10.5" running coated subs w/ the 762 is so quiet only the springs of the action, the brass hitting the ground, and the bullet hitting the backer is all you hear. It's musical.

Re: A reminder about Dicks Sporting Goods

I had the distinct displeasure of working for them while the whole thing happened. I told them what they did was despicable, spitting in the face of gun owners and stabbing us in the back, me included being a multiple AR owner and pistol shooter. Managers were Fudds or non gun owners. They didn't li...

Classic rifle dilemma

I just received a family heirloom Remington 513-T which I have always enjoyed myself but nobody cared much for other than me. My grandpa got it for my uncle but it ended up being too heavy for him as a kid and not interesting as an adult, so it sat in his gun case from the 50's to the 90's. Then my ...
