If it's like any other consumer technology, it's going to get a lot better and a lot more available. By the end of the decade you will be printing a can, running a tap through the threads just to clean them up and go shooting.

Well that sucks. I bought an Outback back when Phil Dater was actively working there. Great company at that time.

That's about the size of it. We get to "choose" a chief executive, but it's a choice between two bad choices. It's like choosing who you want to get raped by. Which one of these booty bandits has the smaller dick?

Re: “Solvent traps”
I ordered one but I'm wondering why you would say this? I ordered one made of titanium. What db. difference do you think I will realistically see between the "solvent trap" kit I ordered and will finish myself and the YHM Phantom titanium I bought for nearly $1,000.00 some years ago? Gran...

Buy one and wait. You wait months then own it for decades.

Yeah, Trump is sooo bad for letting this happen. You better run right out and vote for Biden. That'll teach him! Seriously. Don't be a twat. Q described the "brace" on the HB as a "stock"on their site. What happens when you poke the bear? Bad things. Who's fault is it? The guy wh...

That's news to me, but I haven't bought anything lately. NC is changing, and not for the better.
Eta, I'm in NC just never update my profile from previous state. Too many of us came from places like I used to live including a ton of commies.

I haven't done the side by side comparison myself, but I'm told that the "nitro piston" gas spring guns are more quiet than steel spring piston air guns.

Looking at the 357 Henry single shot as a suppressor host. Anybody here have one? What's the OD at the muzzle? Thanks in advance.

Re: Scope on a rimfire?
For a good many years I had a 4x fixed magnification scope on a single shot 22. It's not the hot set up that the high speed low drag kids play with, but stuff got killed and young me was mighty proud of my iron. Anyway, 4x was enough zoom without getting too narrow a field of view. IMO, the rig you ...

Re: Made a video of a 3D printed suppressor.
In countries without the $200 tax I can see 3d printed plastic silencers making a lot of sense. Print one up, shoot starlings or whatever garden vermin 'till it wears enough to get loud, repeat as the spirit moves you.

Which is why Ruger should have designed the American Rimfire rifles to use 10-22 barrels. How great would that be? Really, really great I say.748 wrote:...snip....
The only way to make it quieter is to put it on an action that locks closed, like a bolt action.

9x39 Wolf?
A few years back when I first heard of the 9x39 cartridge and the guns made for it, the Commie Whisper really got me excited. Now that Wolf has started importing it, I'm underwhelmed. There are two companies making AR uppers and one load available. Steel cased FMJ. Has anybody here handled it? Bough...
