Re: 338 Spectre meets wild hog
Nice piggy. I tried to order a 338 Spectre. But the guys over at teppojutsu never cared enough to call me back with a quote. I emailed twice and called twice. Guess they are too busy to need new business. Well anyways how does your rifle shoot?

Re: Georgia Hunting with Silencers Law
I want full hunting rights with silencers. However, I would take hunting of non-game animals (coyotes, hogs, deer on agricultural permit, etc.) as a starting point. The official code states it is "illegal to hunt with a silencer". I have had several Game-wardens tell me it was okay to shoo...

Georgia Hunting with Silencers Law
Since we know that Georgia hunting regulations state that "hunting with a silencer is illegal", why don't we try to change that. It is sad that the state that AAC, the premier silencer manufacturer, resides has such an ignorant law. What needs to happen to get AAC and Freedom group behind ...

Re: Where do I get a Ruger 22/45 or MK barrel threaded?
All the ones we get at my store go to a local Manufacturer here called Collier Rifles. He builds great rifles and does great thread work. He is a perfectionist and it shows. Cost is $100-$125 for barrel chop and threading.

HK 51 Stock Mods
Got a PTR pistol with a form 1 pending and have started looking at stocks. I am gonna do a collapsible stock to allow it to fit in a case that I have. I know the recoil spring and guide rod are shorter than a stock 91. So do I need to shorten the collapsible stock rod/spring? Or can the rod/spring c...

Re: FFL's that claim they do the Glock LE Program
While it seems you and him have two different ideas of a law enforcement discount. I believe what he did is the same mark up as on a blue label gun. The difference is that he had to pay the 9% federal excise tax on the red gun. So that means his cost was 9% higher than on a blue label. So it seems i...

Re: FYI HK no longer allows dealer samples
We have a UMP. It works all the time, but that is all the good I can say. It is cheaply made. Cheap steel that rust like crap (barrel). Kicks much more than the MP5. But hey it was designed as a cheaper alternative to the mp5.... and I guess it is. As for HK, and alot of there distributors..,. they ...

Re: Source for Rem 700 300 Whisper / 300 Fireball barrel
As the remington 700 requires you to headspace per each reciever... I doubt you will find a drop in barrel... and if you do it will be a crap shoot of if it will work or not.

Just trying to see what the con sinus is on what type of baffles is best suited for a rifle silencer. We are talking .308 Win up to say .338 Lapua with a 24 to 28 inch barrel. Silencer will be 8-12" long and 1-1.5" in diameter.

Re: SWR Spectre .223/5.56 Rated???
If you noticed I did not state that the Spectre was rated/warrantied for 5.56. Only that it will obviously take it for at least 10 rounds as seen in the video. My point was how over engineered it is.

SWR Spectre .223/5.56 Rated???
We sell SWR Spectre at my shop. I always tell people of the benefits of the fact that it will also take 22 mag, 22 hornet, and 5.7x28. But just saw this video of limited 5.56 full auto through it. WOW. If it will handle that I know it will handle everything else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahqgJ...

Re: questions about sbr and silencer
Diomed actually I have found with our examiner the trust/coorporation route still is faster. Usually only a week or two, but 100% of the time over the last year a individual form 4 has never been approved faster than a trust. And then factor in how many times an individual's FPs are rejected, its sc...

Re: HK trigger pack swap
Lets run a hypothetical situation through. Normally a rifle can not become a pistol. However, if a rifle becomes a macginegun by conversion devices, can it then become a pistol when the conversion device is removed? Or does it still have to be a rifle as a non NFA device?

David... Once again if you only knew as much as you think you do we would all be better off! I already have several machine guns and manage a ffl/SOT. So your assumption is once again WRONG! And there is where you completely missed my question. I said I was helping my friend out who is getting his SOT. Guess I pissed you off David Hineline. Didn't know that simply asking questions was grounds for bitching. Guess I will have to choose to either not ask and never learn or to get bitched at. Man how dumb we will become if we all got this much bitching from simply trying to learn more. Guess all of us...

Thanks withoutremorse42 I was asking if it would physically work. Second question.... legally can a sear registered for .308, .223, and 9mm be run in a clone of a different caliber.... say 10mm or 7.62x39? Is it like a sbr as long as you have one of the registered calibers you are good? Or are you h...

Got a quick question. Got a friend who has a registered flemming sear in his G3. Can the g3 tigger pack be removed and ejector changed and it put into a mp5 or does the sear have to come out of one pack and be installed into another?
