Re: AMAZING RESULTS WITH "THE DIP"!!!!!!!
My Coastal Passport takedown tool is a 1/4" allen key, not sure I would need anything from them to crack it open.

Re: How many .22 shots through a .30 suppressor?
Non issue, I have done that for years and my cyclone still looks great inside. A few 22lr's worth of residue will be gone in a flash.

A copy of the Form 4 on your phone should be enough. I wouldn't think a copy of the trust would be warranted.

Keep shooting it and let your estate worry about it. Otherwise, find someone local so no shipping hassles are involved.

Re: Industry Accuracy Testing Is Non Existent!
There is no known way to measure the accuracy of a product like this, too may variables. An accuracy test , would likely be more of a barrel harmonics/thread job test. That being said, in most cases my host shoots just as good with can attached as it did before. For the most part accuracy issues don...

Re: 357 mag subsonic suppressor recommendations.
You will want to JB it, its nice shooting cheap lead bullets. They do leave a buildup and will need cleaning more often than jacketed or plated ammo.

You will be fine if you creep up a bit. I have shoot a few full power shots out of mine just to see, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I use an Octane 9 on my 357 SBR, works well. Using 190 cast lead bullets out of it.

Re: Are suppressor parts universal?
In theory, yes. Some parts may be of similar dimensions to work. There are a few places that will offer baffle upgrades for various cans. However, I am not sure if another mfg would make a non serialized tube for you other than HTA. I guess it would be possible since it isn't a serial numbered part....

Yes factory barrel, the 190's are pretty compact in length and shoot really well.

I have shot some and its louder than a suppressed 22r shooting subs. I bet it is well over 120db.

My issue with the SBX was the tight chamber that gunned up quickly. The aluminum around the chamber will show some penning after use.

I have acquired a few boxes of the 75gr Hornady and will take them out next weekend. Firing out of a 17.5" Tikka 1-8" twist bolt gun, hope they perform well.

Yes it can, many deer and pigs would agree with me. I have never lost one in the field. No feathers ruffled here. I have no emotional investment in anything, just ask my ex. The question is: Can a 5.56 with any bullet construction lead to reliable humane kills on big game?

Re: .357 in a 9mm Can
BTW: Your 357-loads are pathetic. My worst load is 18grs of WW296 behind a 180grs XTP, clocking out at 1390ft from a 6". Now THAT'S a MAGNUM baby. Thats not a 357 mag load, thats around 357 Maximum. Way over pressure for a mag, hence the higher than normal velocity. I use around 13.5gr with 18...

Re: .357 in a 9mm Can
If the OP is using a 16" barrel it should be fine with a good quality can. If the Octane is fine on a short barrel 357 I would have to bet that even a lesser made can would be fine on a 16" barrel. Bore pressure drops of rapidly in higher pressure rounds like the 5.56 and the 357 with a lo...
