Re: What guns do you own, and why?
I have reduced my "arsenal" a good amount over the last few years, but still have some extra "flare" in the safe that I dont really need or even really use. Rifles: 4.5" .22 AR SBR (zombies  .....and squirrel hunting and so on) 8" Noveske 300BLK (deer hunting with ...

Re: 51T Brake and Larue OBR/AR10 ththread problem
My dealer was on the ball and had a spacer for me. 51tooth brake fits on my 762 OBR just fine due to that.
I did not have the same issue mounting my 51tooth brake on my 556 OBR.

Re: Element now has ss end caps and Ti tube!
Definitely....my Element looks kinda odd on my bull barrels. A more flush endcap would look much better, same overall length is fine by me. Also curious as to the cost of this.... ETA.....is this something we could have sent to us, and send the original cap in with a copy of the serial number? Or at...

Re: precision shooting...which 308 can and mount type
thanks for the input everyone. I have a 762SDN with the 51T brake mount. The can would not tighten all the way. There is some play between the last teeth and the locking mechanism. I am still developing my load so I could not say how much variation the free play is adding to the results. However, w...

Re: precision shooting...which 308 can and mount type
Shooting out to 865 the last few weekends with my 762SD mounted on the gun....its a QD mount, but accuracy has floated around 1/2MOA on this rifle and hits out to 865 have been consistent. I'm not shooting a bolt gun or even the OBR....believe it or not...CMMG SASS .308 with 18" fluted extra he...

Re: Mount Orders
I wonder why that barrel has 1/2x28 threads when it would make more sense to have 5/8x24 like my Noveske 300BLK barrel. No idea where I would go from there, other than possibly having a smith cut and rethread the barrel to 5/8x24. -------------------------------- THUNK.....sound of head being pulle...

Does AAC have a delivery date yet for the 51T, 1/2x28, 7.62 Blackouts? Have been trying to find one for several months, and no luck. my 5.56 mounts work perfect with my 762SD and worked fine with my 762SDN-6....as well as M4-2000 Are you needing a .30cal opening in a mount with 1/2x28 threads or so...

Here are some pics....kind of a work in progress. The felt backing with Z-Max stuff hot glued on....Idea here is that "ZOMBIES" will be in a transparent green covering the gap between 12ga and .223.....it will obviously overlap some. http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/2156/imageyrf.jpg Upl...

Re: Zombie Bullets
Bought a box of 9mm, .223, and 12ga......wife built me a shadow box and is working on making some lettering for the glass to read "in case of ZOMBIES break glass"
I've shot some .223 ZMax and it shot just like the VMAX variety.

I'm only 29 and I look down the bore to bore sight my rifle.....but I'm in the Midwest, we're usually a little behind on the new fangled processes! I'm with Silvers.....not sighted in with that process, but probably acceptable for hunting purposes out to 150yards or so. Of course, if your gun shoots...

Pending means the ATF has your paperwork and it is in the stack, you can call them for status updates What he said....when it goes pending, right now, it means you have between 4 and 12 months until it gets approved. Haha I TRY not to call very often, but always get an itch for disappointment event...

Thought I should add this.... Got a chance to shoot side by wide with my dealer. Both of us had 8" Noveske barrels and factory Remington 220gr ammo. No difference could be determined between the two silencers by either of us or anyone near by listening. I bought the SD first for the BLK and .30...

I haven't seen one for that low of a price. I am getting this one myself. My dealer has them for $250 http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/models/ Takes me to their search page, not a particular model. Dropped a line to my dealer and he had 2 Savage Mark II Fv-SR models. 16" barrel, 5rd mag, thr...
