Re: Subcaliber with 7.62 Specwar
Mounted Specwar brakes on an 11.5" 5.56 BCM barrel and a 12.5" 6.8 ARP barrel. Checked out the uppers with 55 gr XM193 ball in the 5.56 and 110 gr Nosler Accubond in the 6.8. Just initially checking the alignment and the sound so no velocity or group info yet. The can sounds GREAT with su...

If it was made after Nov. 2011 then it has Stellite baffles. The old baffles are strong. Go out, use it, shoot it, you break it we'll fix it. When did they start shipping with the Trifecta Flash Hider? The reason I ask is I picked up a "NEW OLD STOCK" off of Gunbroker and it cam with the ...

If I am out in the Desert shooting (or at the Range) the proof is in my possession (in my safe at home) but not on my person (with me readily accessible in my shooting bag).

Re: silencerco new sparrow
I did not experience any abnormally high FRP the very first time I shot my SS Sparrow. Yes it had a slight first round pop compared to my SWR Spectre but it wasn't anything like others have described. I was using CCI STD velocity OAT approx 85 deg F. The SS Sparrow on a Ruger Mk III 22/45 (new 4&quo...

Re: Anyone have the S/S Sparrow's in-stock right now?
I finally make my decision on ordering my first can to hear one dealer tell me 'a year out' and another say at least a month. :) Anyone have a lead on someone with the SS Sparrow in-stock? I ordered mine from R&M up in Wasilla Alaska. It only took 21 days for the Form 3 for the Suppressor to be...

Congrats!
We love our Osprey
I remember fondling ours when it got to our dealer and how much it sucked because we couldn't take it right away and shoot it. The wait is getting better though.
We are waiting on our 4th can now!

In the video, you put 5cc/ml in the back and then you said you can put a little more in the front.
What is the maximum amount of the pulling gel and or water you can put in the 45 Osprey?

Re: suppressor on the sig 522
My Boys and I run a Spectre on our Sig 522. Our first time out with it we put 600 rds through it switching between the Sig, a 10-22 (with an ER Shaw YHM threaded barrel) and a Ruger Mk II with TAC-SOL Pac Lite upper. There was a slight build up of lead on the threads of the Spectre from the Pac Lite...

Re: When will the SS Sparrow be available?
@ RFmissle We currently have no dealer minimum, nor have we ever. (that may not always be the case) We have 2 dealers in Wasilla , one of whom has prebooked 12 months in advance and recieves monthly shipments of our products. I would suspect your regular dealer never took the time to contact us or ...

Re: When will the SS Sparrow be available?
I support my home-town dealer, I purchased a YHM 7.62 that he had in stock. They are also an SWR dealer so they ordered a Spectre for me and it only took 4 weeks for them to receive it. The dealer up in Wasilla Alaska is another small home-town dealer whom I have purchased GunBroker listed items fro...

Re: When will the SS Sparrow be available?
I just ordered a new Stainless Sparrow from R&M in Wasilla Alaska. He had it in stock. He is on GunBroker and there are a few others on GB as well for sale anywhere from $439 to $465. The price may not be right, but it is "RIGHT now!" I ordered my Osprey 45 from him (Reid @ R&M) an...

FB3,
Thanks for posting.
Good on AAc for sorting this out for you.
If one person can inadvertantly assemble it incorrectly, then it could happen again. this post could be a learning experience for future owners of the Element!

My Boys (ages 13 and 11) and I currently own an SWR Spectre and we are new to suppressors. We are looking at getting another 22 can so both can shoot simultaneously! There are two main very important (what I think) rules that I have taught the Boys regarding suppressors (in addition to the other fir...

It doesn't show any pics of the FH on the SWR website.
