Re: What scope for EMC?? M110 Carbine Clone!!!
Leupy with MTMR Reticle is not worth it IMHO, the whole advantage to thart scope is the dot and the H27. Leupy needs to release the H27D version commercially. I've got mine sitting here waiting for a new mount for the EMC. I'll agree with you at the price point of 3500 bucks, its not worth it. But ...

Re: What scope for EMC?? M110 Carbine Clone!!!
One of the respected vendors on the Hide just said Oct at the earliest. I'm sure it'll be pushed back again.Fongman wrote:What's the latest release date on the S&B 1x8?
Seems that could be the scope of choice if past quality is continued. Spending 3k on a Luepy makes me too nervous.
Re: EMC?
Yup. As long as it shoots on average its test target I'll be very happy.
Ya I reload...lol....about the only way me and my buddy can afford to shoot as much as we do....hell even reloading 200 rounds a weekend of .308 boltgun is starting to add up.

Re: EMC?
Ya I understand. :( Just sucks if I don't find something in the next couple of weeks that I'll have to go with another option. IMO, the EMC is worth waiting for. Not saying its not, but not having a 556 or 762 semi would screw me and my spotter for a large upcoming match :( But not to worry...Casey...

Re: EMC?
Yup a wash on both so far.
EMC?
Does anyone know anywhere that has one for sale? Really want to run one of these as the secondary in a upcoming match.

Thanks...I'll have to try it as I'm quickly running out of time for the big mammoth comp.

762SD Coming Loose?
Hey guys I've got a problem with my 18t 762sd. After a few rounds of shooting now it appears to loosen up on the teeth and so it has wiggle room now. Its greatly affecting the accuracy of the can i.e. going from shooting repeat .6" groups to 1.5" groups and I'm getting more concerned that ...

I also believe 3/4s is the same pattern that KAC uses on their SR25s now at the very least. And ya I rethreaded my 308 and may do the same to my 338 depending on the can I buy. A barrel is a consumable item, especially a 338lm. I would have just done the rethreading and have been blazing out my barr...

The simple solution to this is to buy another rifle that takes an off the shelf mount. Or get yours rethreaded for a more common pattern. :D Ya know you keep saying common pattern...but its funny rsilvers said a few months ago in a thread I posted on here that 3/4's should be the new standard. So g...

Rethreading on the SRS .308 won't change accuracy, and by putting on a break your probably going to chance your POI slightly anyway. Besides...barrels are consumables, do what you need to do to get it working. Here's my SRS with the 762SD where I had the threads turned down to 5/8s. http://i213.phot...

Couple of questions: 1.) Does it have to be a 2 man team? I've been trying to get my friends to come out and ya...its a lost cause. *edit* Looks like thats answered in the starter post. 2.) Will both rifles be used at the same time or would we have enough time to swap the can from one rifle to anoth...

Besides what everyone else said...and yes it looks ghey. My questions are as follows: 1.) Looks like you have to have a special barrel/mounting system on the action itself for this? 2.) The gases blow back and fill up the tube and along the barrel? If so wtf does this do to the outside of the barrel...

To which I call BS. The T-1 gives me a lot of great capabilities. The NF while fantastic, friggin heavy on top of an already heavy rifle. Whatever. :? lol I don't disagree with you on that. I've got a T-1 and a 2.5-10x24 NF for my OBR. I swap back and forth depending on what I'm doing for the day. ...

Thanks, I actually found that due to the weight that as great as the NF 1-4x is, I actually prefer shooting it with the T-1: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2790/4397939219_b70421fccf_b.jpg I recall talking to Chris at the last class and him saying he ran the variable power scope on the BR, and the ...
