Re: Best .22 suppressor for under the handguard?

I have a Spectre 2 and a can from Curtis Tactical and have never had issues with either. if the can comes apart in more than 2 places, i would red locktite a portion together (not the end caps) and try that. are you using antisieze on the threads?

Re: Grouping issues

same barrel maker?
I'm purely guessing but if it shoots great w/o the can and the can on other weapons systems works great, there seems to be only one common denominator.

Re: Grouping issues

DO NOT add a crush washer. call gemtech and get the proper shim if you need em. it sounds to me that the barrel "whip" or harmonics and the weight of the can do not jive as you have stated. try a longer, say 10.5' or so, barrel and give it a whirl. i would bet the results are much better especially ...

Re: Advice plz: 5.56 end cap hole size, engraving location

There is NO way I would take a chance and several months of waiting on an aluminum tube for 556 sir. I'm no expert but I do remember seeing a Huntertown Arms can split and it is steel. I have 2 of em, and they work amazingly well thanks to Curtis Tactical. With that said, it's your money, time and h...

Re: .22 rimfire, integral vs add-a-can

I weighed this out as well and ending up going with a Spectre 2 can. I have NEVER regretted my decision and it now sits on the Ruger MK4. I have a can from Curtis Tactical and it is also VERY nice indeed. Hollywood quiet was achieved on my CZ tacticool as you could her the trigger over the shot. I k...

Re: Solvent traps...

I built a solvent trap for my 9mm. I would not feel comfortable on an AR or anything close to those pressures. I'm sure they will work, I'm just not going to chance it.

Re: 9mm host pistol recommendations

Curtis Tactical is who you seek for the bolt type weapon. He has actually developed an awesome new setup. Check his facebook out and some of his new creations will be revealed in Recoil mag in September if I remember correctly.

A buddy of mine has a sig 226 at it is very nice suppressed.

Re: Effectiveness over multiple calibers? Supersonic?

you can get a "one sized, fits all" can but I have found that by using a .22lr can for small calibers is best. then taking a .30 cal can and using it for .223 most suppressor companies that you buy a .30 cal can will also provide a smaller end cap but not always. when it comes to using a can on bigg...

Re: Integrally Suppressed vs Detachable Can

If you have more than 1 host, get the detachable can. If you are going to do a 1 gun for ALL the fun, integral is very nice and doesn't add length. It really depends on how much of the retirement you plan to burn on "hush hosts".

I also have the Spectre 2. a fantastic system. it is all stainless so you should be good to clean. I have derived my own "soup soak" if you will which consists of Hoppes #9 and AeroKroil. I just cleaned my 9mm baffles by letting them soak for several days and they looked like brand r new. You can ca...

M Lok handguard

I have a 9mm AR that sports a quadrail and I would like a smaller M Lok rail but need a minimum of 1.5" ID for my suppressor. I would like to get a 10" as I don't want to have to hacksaw it down to size. I have seen that Aero has a rail that would work but I don't need to spend $100 plus. This thing...
