A cliche is an expression, idea, or element of an artistic work which has been overused to the point of losing its original meaning or effect, "played out", rendering it a stereotype, especially when at some earlier time it was considered meaningful or novel. ok, but to me he is still jus...

GKD / RUGER 77 - 22 in .22 LR, Model “DINGO” Integrally suppressed Ruger 77/22 with laminated wood stock. Good looks and the only noise you will hear is the firing pin hitting and then, the “smack” on the target. Suppressor is 0.92” OD (same as a “bull barrel”). THE BEST ANYWHERE! Warning silencer ...

Not all of the tiles are the same the. carbon-carbon is used on wing leading edges and nose cap capable of taking well over 2000C. Nuff said. What about carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2f/shuttletps2-colored.png not sure c-c is the best examp...

sign up for a machining class as a local community college. it will probably cost you less than $100 and may save you from tanking your expensive new lathe. the machines they will have will probably be old and warn. but old also means built at a time when things were built to last forever (even with...

absolutely not. believe me, i was astounded. we initially thought he missed because there was a big cloud of dust and the rabbit just ran off. we assumed that if he had hit, the rabbit would have been reduced to its component quarks. we found the rabbit behind a berm about 50 yards from where it had...

i don’t see what is wrong with his post other than the laser thing may be a bit exaggerated. i friend of mine shot has shot several rabbits with a 50 bmg fmj and the round made a dime size entry hole and nickel size exit hole (a practice we both agree should stop as the rabbit usually survives for...

batf position on silencer construction parts
just wondering if the batf has any position on parts used to make silencer parts? i know that they consider a silencer part such as a finished baffle to be a silencer. im not talking bars of metal or lathes here but what about items such as dies specifically used to stamp baffles or welding/assembly...
