Well you know, she's not really plastic. She's a 3D girl form a program called Poser. They have made such improvements the last couple years that sometimes you can't tell one from the real thing.. They use photographs of a real woman to get the skin texture. Do you think you could tell the present ...

Does BATF allow shotgun news to sell DIAS's ? Yes. Are the Dias legal ? answer, no. The consensus among a lot of people is that , when you have a DIAS in your house. You give the BATF probable cause to get a search warrant anytime they wish.......... I wouldn't touch a DIAS with a 10 foot pole. They...

I love Colts !! I would always say Colt 1911 always except for one thing. No rail. For Home defense, I would pick a gun that has a rail. Put a light on it that would blind the intruder. On the other hand, Colt does have a railed 45 now, I think. I just don't know anything about it. What do you want...

Brian, You hit it on the button. I'll always have it with me because it is small and easily concealed. The 45 I was talking about was my Colt Govt 1911 5 in barrel. I shot it at an introductory IDPA shoot. I love it ! but it is larger than I want to carry every day. I want to shoot a few IDPA's with...

I just bought a Springfield sub compact 9mm , I love it ! The 45 is nice, real nice for shooting IDPA, but I like the smaller , easier to conceal sub. and it's FAST out of the xd holster. I'm ready for Matt Dillon lol.. I'm going to the gun show in the morning and pick me up some defensive ammo. Wha...

Brian and Steve. Lots of good info you gave me above. Practice Practice Practice. Once I get the feel of that new holster everything will go lots better. The trainer recommended that soon as I clear the holster , I get the the barrel on Target. that way I can fire from my side if I have too and I'm ...

I won't be using the 9mm for CCW.I'm going to be carrying the 1911. The 38 will be for when I need a SMALL gun.. THere were no revolvers there today. 30 people wanted clips with lots of ammo 8) Like you guys said. One platform... I heard that mentioned today at the IDPA shoot... :) They talked about...

Do the cop trick and hang the gun on the coat hook on the back of the door, just don't forget the gun and make sure you do not hit the trigger with the hook when you are removing it (both have happened according to news reports). That is true ! At work we had a highway patrol man in for a meeting (...

can you use the tube that you are going to make the suppressor out of? It will have a serial number That would raise red flags. If you're putting it in the trust, you're saying it already exists as a silencer (serialized tube = silencer if you have intent). Nothing good would come of that. thanks f...

Re: can you get in trouble for
For example, say you have form 1 and send a shop some prints for K baffles without the bore drilled. Or a tube with threaded ends. . Seriously though.... when the baffle is in the lathe and you have already shaped it. you want to do the bore then. You want everything concentric. It might make the l...
