Re: 9mm AR upper
Yes- a ramped bolt deletes the need for a rounded 9mm hammer but some enhanced triggers out there like a Giessle can be hit or miss with a ramped bolt. The POF drop in made by Timney works and comes with KNS trigger pins as a bonus. Forgot to mention that the non rotating hammer/trigger pins are rec...

Re: 9mm AR upper
I decided to make my own after looking at the options. Its a fairly easy build as it has no gas tube so go as short as you want. I went with an ADCO 5" barrel as they offer them with a 1/2x28 thread unlike others. I then went with a 3 lug and added Rocksett to keep it there. Tros makes a nice 3 lug ...

You said it bro- it's on the wish list!Bendersquint wrote:YOu should be all set, now you just need to get it jailbroken so you can keep the entire thing clean not just the booster.

Re: Glock 17 fail to cycle w trident
Ok scratch this post. It's a double.
Answer seems to be I need to clean the booster to ensure its working correctly.
Thanks all for the help.

Re: Glock 17 fail to cycle w trident
Ah ok- I admit I am not aware if booster needed a cleaning. Fairly new to the game and Ill check that out. I Wasn't aware there were moving parts in it. Thanks all for your help!! The piston reciprocates with the gunshot and allows the heavy can to cycle on a tilt action barrel. Its HOW it works. W...

Glock 17 fail to cycle w trident
Ok common question most likely but I could not find a solution on similar threads. I have a gen 2 glock 17 w a lone wolf barrel and a trident. Same results with and without booster. Used 115gr federal fmj, and 147gr jhp Winchester. Gun was clean prior. Failure to cycle consistently. It won't eject b...

Re: RPB Mac Suppressor Rebuild
I have a Tros 3 lug adapter I had on a RPB open bolt and a SWR Trident 3 Lug that changes out where the booster is. Its going up for sale if needed. Unsure if its same thread as the M11's off the top of my head.

Re: Walther MP5 22 import Umarex
That gun as pictured has the fake can threaded on top of the barrel. So the fake can is a sleeve on the pencil thin barrel . The thread is at the muzzle end and with a thread adapter it's all set. You can actually flip the fake can upside down and put it on the muzzle. The thread is also exposed on ...

Re: Any ranges in MD that don't suck?
I am still looking myself. So far NRA HQ Range was very nice- a little wait on the weekends and you can get bummped off a lane if its busy after an hour. Rapid OK. Rifles of all types under 50 cal. Slug only on shotguns.
Still looking for a decent outdoor range at a reasonable cost.

Walther MP5 22 import Umarex
Just want to put a positive review for the Mp5 imported by Umarex. The lack of bad reviews was one thing that made me go for it, but the final kicker was that the thread would accept the adapter I already had for my Walther P22. Took my 13 yr old son on his first range day- long over due. I wanted t...
