Re: Integral suppressors

The host and the tube can have the same serial number IF the manufacturers are different. If Ruger makes an integral Mk 4 the numbers would have to be different but if Joe Smith takes a Ruger Mk 4 and makes it integral the numbers can be the same. A manufacturer can not duplicate a serial number.

07 maybe?
07/02's also are ok I think.
An 06 is an ammo manufacturer, how is it ok for them to make or repair a can? Just asking 'cause I don't know....

Re: Legal To Shorten A Tube?

If it has been fired is there a limit as to how much it can be shortened? Any requirement to amend or note on the F4? Thanks!

Re: AMAZING RESULTS WITH "THE DIP"!!!!!!!

My Coastal Passport takedown tool is a 1/4" allen key, not sure I would need anything from them to crack it open. Yep, it takes a 1/4" allen wrench, why would they need to send you one? If there's as much carbon in it as you make it sound maybe you should have cleaned it sooner. I know Coastal does...

Coastal cans are not sealed.

We've Determined Anodizing Internals Is Good But WHO Does It

Just like it says, we figure it's good but exactly which manufacturers do anodize the internals of their Aluminum cans? I don't want this to turn into a re-hash of the other thread or a "I think they do" thread, I'd like to limit the responses to first-hand knowledge of anodized internals by manufac...

Does Anybody Anodize Internals?

Just curious, do any of the manufacturers anodize the internals on Aluminum cans? If they do, what would be the advantage of this? Thanks

Does any manufacturer Anodize the "guts"? I still learning about this stuff and I'm curious as to why they would do that, would it make it easier to clean?

That's strange because every Aluminum can they make is Anodized. I wonder why they would say that if it's obvious they're Anodized, just something else that makes you go hmmmmm......

The can is all aluminum, including the blast baffle. I find that unacceptable in a subgun can. Others don't.

They don't anodize it either. That's just cheap.
According to their website they are Black Matte Anodized, where does your info come from? Have you ever handled a Coastal can of any kind?

Having talked to the guys at Coastal, I would not buy a MIMS. Others may find it worthwhile.
Care to elaborate? What info did you get that would keep you from buying the MIMS? Is it just that one or anything from them?
