Re: 300 Blackout / Mystic X Bullet Instability
Dave at Liberty WILL get you taken care of. Deal with Liberty directly on this one- something is seriously off. I had an issue with my Leonidas from them- they paid the freight and got it fixed in a hurry. IIRC, the turnaround was 8 or 9 days from my door back to my door.

Re: Form 1 SBR status update question
NFA tracker says I was supposed to get it by the end of this month but Its over and no stamp for me... I had a buddy put one in at the same time and he has his back already (He did a little AK for mounted use on a RZR with a 90round drum and a can. (We were getting a lot of concussion below without...

Re: 22lr can for 4" barreled Buck Mark pistol
Not on the list but I love my tac-65 :) and I have it on my buckmark with a paclite barrel. If you want to seriously upgrade its performance, send it to John Titsworth at X-Caliber. Mine came back with 7 Genesis SS baffles. What a difference in cleaning and performance. Best $$ I've spent on NFA.

Re: Critique my list
Sudden Impact- What state are you in? I don't see anything wrong with any of the cans on your list with the exception noted above about dedicating a larger bore can (Hybrid) to a 300BLK and pretty much only a 300BLK. I run a Liberty Mystic 9mm can on a 9.5" 300BLK with good results, but compari...

I'd add the Liberty 45 can to the lsit above. I believe it is the only one rated for 458 SOCOM.

Re: Thunderbeast Ultra 9
Before i went with the Ultra 7, I e-mailed back and forth with TBAC. Mine was intended to live on a 12.5" 6.8, and they rated it down to a 10" 6.8 I think (supersonic). I do run an adjustable GB, and it is needed. I've got an AR Gas Vent on two of my other suppressed ARs and have one on or...

Re: Thunderbeast Ultra 9
I've got the Ultra 7 and it lives on my 12.5" 6.8. Have tried it on my 9.5" 300BLK and it is quieter than running a Mystic 9mm can on it, but still louder than my Liberty Leonidas integral 300BLK. If price is not an option, I'd take a look at the Liberty Leonidas Ti integral upper. HUGE vo...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR
I've been following a guy's thread over at the 6.8 forum. He is a building a full sized AR10 with a 16" barrel. That he has spec'ed to weigh in at 4.5 pounds. 16" and under 5 lbs with a real receiver (not polymer) and a CF handguard. Even with a normal 12 ounce handguard, it'd be under 5.5...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR
I'm waiting on Mega to start shipping their medium-sized frame Ar in 308. Complete rifle with a 16" barrel chambered in 308 that is 7.2 pounds. I'd like to get one of those turned into a 12" SBR.

WRT the John Smith REvocable Living Trust, Bender hit it on the head. I recommend to all my clients to do First initial, last name, followed by NFA TRUST at the most. With clients with very long last names, I've had some get creative along the lines of 123TACO TRUST. With a common last name (Jones/ ...

Have you looked at a Beretta 21A Bobcat? I know Tornado Tech threads them, and they look great witha 6" 22 can on them. And, Crimson Trace makes lasser grips for it. That'd be a sweet set up.

Re: trust question
Don't know what state you're a resident of or if your trust is revocable, but most states allow a settlor/ grantor to amend a revocable trust with a pen. Simply write "Notwithstanding any provisions herein to the contrary, I name my daughter Mary Jane Smith as the beneficiary of this trust.&quo...

Re: Greetings! Gummy ammunition - will it be a negative or positive?
Hello, and welcome. If you're new to 22 suppressors, the best advice I can give you is to 1) buy a chrony of some kind and 2) buy several different flavors of 22LR ammo. My 10/22 loves CCI Standard and Winchester subsonic HP (which shoots a bit faster than CCI SV), but my 4.5" MKII shines with ...

Re: Stuck Between 3 Silencers
I just went through the decision making process and the three you listed were in the running. The can would primarily live on a 12.5" 6.8 SBR. The Omega isn't rated for a 12.5" 6.8, so I crosssed it off, and I was very, very excited about it when it first came out. I ended up going with a ...

the stuck cases were in the rossi single shot. I also shoot hornady xtp's 158 grains. they expand nice at sub speeds. I've been toying with ideal of shooting a cast paper patched soft lead bullet. in order to get a heavier bullet that will expand at sub speeds. My bad. I read it twice before I repl...

Do you plan on subs only or also supers? What barrel length? The Liberty Mystic X can handle super 300bo and sub 308 It can also handle saami 35 Remington. ^^This works great for me with a 9.5" 300BLK barrel and 125 grain supers- my go-to night time hog hunting rig.^^ The set up also works gre...

Re: 6.8 SPC Suppressor reccomendations
I've been hesitant to buy night optics since I know I won't use them much. Two things- 1) I just got back from a bachelor's party in Breaux Bridges (between Lafayette and Baton Rouge) and we rented a fishing cabin in Afatchalya. I looked up the game regs prior to going. The bachelor wanted to try n...

Re: 6.8 SPC Suppressor reccomendations
I got rid of my 6.8 and just built another Grendel. It does anything the 6.8 does and it's simpler for me not to have to buy bullets for both and dies for both. I'd save yourself the aggravation. JMHO I do plan on running my Recce 7 on the 6.5 once I grab another mount. It's a nice lightweight can ...

I am running an Omega on my 18'' 6.8, I was previously using a Saker. I love both cans but the Omega is so much lighter (direct thread) than the Saker. Just started a build with a 12" ARP barreled 6.8 ,wish I could run the Omega on it. After a few hunts lugging the 18'' with a D760,Torch Pro a...

Re: 6.8 SPC Suppressor reccomendations
I got into the 6.8 solely for night time suppressed hog hunting. I built a 12.5" AR Performance barreled SBR. Currently, I'm running it with an older Phoenix Armory 30 caliber Abyss suppressor. It weighs 34 ounces. Not ideal for lugging around all night. I did a lot of research and was set to p...

Re: Suppressed Pistol, Which Make/Model??
Is there much of a difference between the MK25 and the P226 in terms of using as a suppressor host? MK25 internals are parkerized for swimming in salt water, and it has a cool anchor and sticker on it. Otherwise, same gun. I have a 226 Elite which comes with a beavertail, most important feature to ...
