Re: AAC muzzle brake change wrench flats are gone!!
I don't believe Bendersquint was saying there was a performance gain. Just that there isn't any performance lost. (It works the same once installed). You are correct, I never said there was a performance gain, just that I am not seeing any loss to it. You don't have to have a performance upgrade/in...

Re: AAC muzzle brake change wrench flats are gone!!
The change is only for the 7.62 muzzle brakes and it was to accommodate the longer threads by some manufacturers. Performance is identical to the old style brake and the ports still align at the 3 and 9 o'clock position. These just allow for a wider range of compatible host weapons due to the new ....

Re: AAC muzzle brake change wrench flats are gone!!
This is great news! I've been running the Blackout on my 10.3" barreled AR because the old style brake would have caused clearance issues between my can and the rifle. I will be picking one of these up very soon. Nice to see AAC being responsive to their customers. I don't understand, Is your ...

Re: AAC muzzle brake change wrench flats are gone!!
Fail to see the issue. Does aesthetics rank higher than performance for you? It still has wrench flats for installation...... I have yet to see or be told what the performance gain of this style vs the old style is? Please explain the higher performance you discribe...... Also, as I mentioned the n...

AAC muzzle brake change wrench flats are gone!!
Well I have not heard any word about this until I got the breaks for my 300 blk uppers. Wrench flats are gone and baffles are thinner. AAC rep stated: the change was due to customs requests. Now I have two breaks that look completely differently than the 5 others I have mounted on various rifles. Ki...

Re: Baffle erosion 762 - SD with pictures
Just a quick note, I have shot mostly 5.56 ammo through my Cyclone-K. I do not have ANY erosion like that. The baffle wear is slight and even, a light fine sand blast kind of finish. I have NO jagged sharp flame cutting nasty shark tooth edges on my baffles. It almost looks like micro fracturing wi...

18T Saker mount
will sliencerCo make a 18t adapted for the saker? I know this is super nitch but some of us 18t guys are stuck with that platform and it would be a great design if you could make it compatible with this mount. I would certainly buy one (edit) i would be on the phone today to get the paper work rolli...

WOOOO< WOOOO NELLY Easy guys, the only reason I posted this was to get some opinions, not too incite some kind of pissing match. If the AAC bashing continues ill just pull the post. Re: Baffle erosion 762 - SD with pictures
Thanks I tried hard to get these pictures, not sure how others do it so well. that said. I was wondering whey I been getting inconstant accuracy out of this can with match 308 ammunition, thought it was my gun not wanting to run suppressed. that said, all as been factory Federal ammo with the except...

Baffle erosion 762 - SD with pictures
Today while demoing my 762-SD for some friends I noticed some pretty extensive baffle erosion in the baffles just past the first one. I only have about 1200 rounds through this suppressor. A combination of .223, 300 blackout and 308. But from what I am seeing the baffles are missing a lot material a...

Re: Super Sonic Ammo - What is really going on here ???
I am not sure how it could ever be the same price as .223/556 ammo. The bullets are more than twice the weight which means the cost in raw materials for them would be more than twice as much. And everything has to do with volume. Until someone can produce brass in the volume that 223/556 is produce...

Super Sonic Ammo - What is really going on here ???
I brought this up once before, and and still waiting on this ammo. I was promised that this ammo would be out right quick and spent a s--t ton of money on building uppers for this round. Like the little AAC fan boy I once was... I bought into this and stayed away from the 6.8 which I was going to bu...
